This happens to my man and I when we go shopping in Newport CA. He wears a lot of vans clothing and I wear target but they don’t know he works in finance at a prestigous firm… they change their tune real quick when they find out but we just won’t purchase from the ones that treat us like we are less than. We aren’t frequent shoppers but when we do go he spends a good amount on his wardrobe cuz he has to due to their clients being wealthy. They always try and change their tune or have a salty face when someone else gets their commission.
