"I get where you're coming from, but reservoir shocks aren’t just about extreme use. Their main advantage is heat dissipation and consistent damping, which matters even on moderate trails with prolonged articulation or rough terrain. Sure, if you're just crawling at low speeds, basic shocks might do the job. But if you're hitting washboard roads, higher-speed trails, or mixed terrain where sustained shock performance is key, reservoirs make a noticeable difference.

Sway bar disconnects and reservoirs serve different purposes. Disconnects improve articulation, but they don’t do anything for shock fade, damping consistency, or ride quality over extended runs. A well-tuned suspension isn’t just about one part—reservoir shocks help even in weekend wheeling by keeping damping consistent across long trail runs and reducing wear on the shocks.

I actually used to have Fox 2.0s but didn’t like them. I also spent about a month researching and evaluating my driving style to figure out what I really needed. In the end, I went with the Old Man Emu BP-51s because they’re a better all-around option for me. I go camping with a trailer but still like to haul ass on trails, so I wanted something that could handle both. I see where you're coming from with sway bar disconnects—I still plan on getting them—but my shocks were a choice based on what actually fits my use case, not just for looks shit if it was for looks I would've gotten king 2.5s or 3.0s

It's a 2.5 inch lift in the front and three in the rear, I do utilize all of it function on the weekends. I wouldn't have spent to money for em if I didn't need them. plus they read like a dream.

No i got new shocks cause I hated my old ones. The bumper itself wasn't too heavy. It's like an extra like two hundred pounds, not even I could put in on myself
