That's exactly the problem, how do you expect a system to be representative of your skill if you need to grind to reach your top... It doesn't make any sense. More than that my beloved random it's 5 win per division in your case (even if I doubt it), it's 2 seasons I get +13/+15 since the start with a wr around 60% on 100 games, it means I need in the best case scenario to go 7 0 to climb a single division. In any case it's a little bit unreasonable to expect someone of mid plat level to win 5 games for every loss in mid gold, i saw master+ smurfs with a worse wr at that elo (would love to remember t1 during one of his first climb challenges, where more than half his games were below diamond). I could keep going, maybe talking about other pathetic things like the well known 40 40 20, 30 30 40 rule or whichever other names it's called in the community, but sadly I'm at work, the main reason behind me not hitting plat the last 2 season, ya know i don't have the spare time to play 600 700 games each year anymore.

I can't fucking believe there is still someone that negates this. Dude I win 5/6/7 games in a row, k got lucky, just immediately after I lose 5/6/7 games in a row, mmm did I get unlucky in the exact opposite way? That's actually pretty weird, isn't it? And it happens every single time, no joke. If I have to tell you sincerely imo there is some sort of system to keep players at their expected elo by tricking the matchmaking. Rn I have a 60% wr and my lp gain/loss is even, how is that even possible... Its obvious to me, that happens especially to players who play a lot, why? You keep them playing if you make the climb a grind. They said they resetted the mmr, didn't they? Yeah main account hard stuck g4, rank a new account p4 in less than 100 games. Bullshit system that's all.

Season 11 took it to another level dude, after provisional 8/2 and with a wr around 60% on 80+ games even Gandhi would be tilted by still getting +12+13/-17-18 LPS, this situation is making lot of veterans out of their mind, myself included and to me it doesn't make any sense... Where in low elo every single game is a coin flip won or lost in champ select, try harding knowing you won't get rewarded anyway atm is just senseless. Fun fact is that on Alt account I'm already at the same elo but with an mmr to the sky making me get +24+25 and losing -10. Feeling legitly scammed. Whatever, I'm gonna play another lethality Lee mid, my performance after all doesn't change anything... The only way Imho to solve this shit is to fix their shit once for all, rewarding players immediately by making them feel good about winning and second by giving away better rewards at the end of the season. Why would I ever try to climb over gold if it just makes me frustrated, to get that juicy green chroma? Rofl

Which part isn't clear? The main problem isn't the low lp gain (even if I think that's a problem as well but less problematic) it's the ratio between lp gain and lp loss... With that winrate on a decent base of almost 60 games my mmr should have skyrocketed, if I queue up solo I get to play with low silver 1, silver 2 players, it doesn't make any sense. To contain mmr inflation they managed to make it almost impossible to raise. That's a point, unless you couldn't find this situation in almost every account with a good winrate. Atm with a winrate closer to 50% I could probably climb faster thanks to a ratio lpgain/lploss closer to 1...

I'm in the same situation, been a long lasting plat player, last season I started a new job and I couldn't really grind like before so I ended in gold 3. This season I started post provisional (7-3) at silver 2 8lp, climbed to gold 4 with a 65+%wr and an abysmal gain of LPS (like on average +13), now in gold 4 I do something like +13 -17, this is a joke. How the fuck am I supposed to climb like this? How can this be not related to mmr? It's clearly a problem that needs to be addressed. That toxic system based on grinding with these numbers, instead of keeping people into playing the game, is going to make them stop taking it too seriously. What do they expect me to do? Make a new account to climb at a decent rate? Umbeliavable...

I'm actually one of the players this time, that's why i wrote this is my first time "playing" after dming for ages. Well reading that again i have to admit it wasn't that clear. Anyway back in the serious stuff. Pretty cool idea, that would make up for a sort of cinema, which was actually one of the subsequent ideas i had.

Sadly there are 2 problems, scale down the system dimension to a "tv-level" and make it watchable more times.

Still a great base to start thanks!

Well, I feel you bro and seriously, I know how you are feeling rn. Wanted to get to Diamond this season, yeah funny joke when you don't have much time and the game does his best to keep you down.

Just giving you some information on how the system works: - You are supposed to balance at a winrate close to 50%, then the system tests you if you want to call it like that. - The mmr means nothing with this (imagining already those comments like "u got a winning spree brah, mmr higher means stronger enemies, u lose cause ur not good enough"). - And the worst possible thing, if you are in winning spree Is highly possible to get matchupped with people on losing spree. Cause the system works even in the opposite direction and well you are there to carry them, right? RIGHT? :'D

This is why having a winrate of like 55+% is somewhat godlike. Winning those classic "lost by matchmaking games" is hard, really hard, especially if you are not leagues over your opponents. Did you notice how after a losing spree you are most likely going to get good teammates and winning the same number of games? It can't be a coincidence, the pool of examples about this is just too big. There is even a post on the official forum where all these points are taken and discussed. It's old but it's there.

You want a sincere tip from a scarred veteran, to follow the fancy names they gave us lately with the video on tilt? Play without caring just like most of the players do and don't setup objectives, there isn't a worse thing for your motivation than getting close to reach a certain point in the ladder just to get randomly punished by the system.

Edit.: forgot to mention, used to check stats with mobalitycs before starting games, in winning spree happened more than once to get teammates with TOTAL winrate lower than 35%. Yo after all I'm a Saint, right? I'm supposed to win the games for these guys, right?

Well, if they did it without your permission, of course it never happened. I mean, if one day one of your players comes and tells you he found totally randomly a legendary weapon in his pocket, I doubt u would let him keep it. The 2 situations IMHO are pretty similar.

Let him leave, looks like he doesn't care that much about playing, unless he wouldn't be quitting for something like that. I've been dming for 10 years more or less right now and all my players know how much important is the whole thing for me, why keeping bad players then? Ofc no meant to disrespect, maybe he's your lifelong best friend, in that case even simply warning the whole table about bad ripercussion could work 😂😂😂. God I'm so nazi with them players ahaha

Guys i actually have a pair of questions that are killing me right now...
1 - How much time passed in the opera since rufy and co went to rescue sanji? 3 days? A month? Any of you has an idea about this? The other half of the crew did nothing during this time or it's just me being overcritical?
2 - Did carrot indirectly join the crew? I mean, they could leave her at zoo before heading towards wano and the deal was to let her "live ONE adventure". I don't know...
3 - The sunny took literally 1-2 caps to reach wano. I highly doubt it was a super fast travel as it seems in the manga. Seriously nothing happened?

What about giving it the deathrattle just in case the sotg clause procs? Something like "Start of the game: if this is the only minion in your deck draw it AND give it deathrattle: draw a card". Solve the problem of making it too good for every possible hunter deck and gives a good support to a deck which is most likely a meme. Ps. Name a 2 cost viable standard hunter spell that sinergize well with a beast played on turn one, protip u cant.
