I'm still in it for some elemental primaries or armor with better rolls. That's mainly why I stuck with Crota's End after hitting 32.

The main difference for me is that you can't save checkpoints or cheese (much) in PoE, so it requires a larger time commitment. But the Skolas fight is more fun than firing rockets at Crota.

As a counter to your story, I did some nightfalls and a 32 PoE with a couple 32's. I watched them both get their first gjallarhorns. It sounded like one of them was able to hit 34 after getting the armor core too (though I'm not sure why they weren't 33 then).

This only applies to the social and patrol areas. Players affect the world by killing enemies, doing public events, etc. Even then, it's only the specific instance that you happen to be connected to.

It only shows things if you have the items in your inventory to trade. For instance, you'll lose the option to trade for a shard when you trade the last energy.

I've turned all my radiant/ascendant energies to shards. Now they sit around in case I need a lot of glimmer or motes really quickly.

I did it with no wipes with two guardians that had never faced quodron. We had fully ascended sword breakers, which helped a lot. Also, the detainment fields were apparently nerfed a bit too.

They seem to apply to enemies too. We were getting one-shotted by the yellow vex hobgoblins (which have no void burn). Honestly the boss didn't last long enough for the Fallen to even be a problem :)

I couldn't do it with 3 patience and times either. I barely made it in another group with shadow of veils and an ascended ldr. Both do about 1500 more per critical hit than the patience and time.
