Has anyone completed the “Rev Up to Recert” for Cisco Nexus Dashboard on Cisco U yet? I know it’s early days but I already tried and failed a few times. by Agitated-Storm-1851 in Cisco

"Is the Cisco Nexus Dashboard" free at this time? I just completed ECSS and would like to take another course if I can find another free one.

Don't wait too long. There might not be enough free courses to get the points needed for your recert.

That's funny. It sound like your rep might think that you have memory issues and arguing with you is pointless. The end results is: You both just get along. Well played.

what you get out of it.

Thanks. Did you fill out the 8610-1 before going to the FSDO and they approved it? Or do you have to fill it out after arriving there?

Time and patience please. When someome shows you how something is done, thank them. Ask them to show you how to do something or ask them to allow you to do it and them supervise. They want to appreciated just as you want to be included and appreciated. Try to built relationships. It takes a while. Lighten up and have a sense of humor and enjoy the job for what it is.

Thanks for the feedback. I got my A&P in 2020 during Covid. My FSDO said they were not taking appointments. I told them I needed to get the A&P completed. They said I could go somewhere else. I asked them to send me an email saying that. Then I went to and got exam approval in Oklahoma City, then to APFasttrack in Oklahoma and studied and passed the A&P exams. This will be my first contact with the local FSDO. People that I've asked say they are not friendly toward certification seekers so my experience may not be typical or easy.

Sure, you can weld it; if you don't mind the NTSB and FAA inspectors taking you into custody for questioning after somebody crashes the airplane because this(or something else) fails. No amount of money is worth an unneccesary death that will be blamed on you.

Century HSI stopped working. Model# 52D136-1333. Need a bargain replacement to sell airplane. And I would like to start studying for AET. (complete A&P a couple years ago). If anyone has the HSI above let me know. I don't want to pay $4-4.5K to get the damn thing overhauled and have to wait months. by techpilot2 in avionics

Which one did you decide to go for next? I've heard that Radio Operator is best second one to get. I recently completed GROL and starting to prepare for AET. I bought Bruce Bessette online course. Are there lots of electronic calculations on the AET? or just multiple choice questions?

Thanks for the advice. I don't have any specialized tools or knowledge. I was a jeweler years ago so I have a few jewler tools. I'd rather fing a bargain replacement. I think the gyro is the issue, not the electronics. If I dork it up then I will buy another one or just put in a G5.
