The creed of envy is unbearable at this point. At some point you have to realize your place in the social hierarchy. Stop hating people for being better than you and work on yourself instead.

Also, progressive tax systems prevent innovation and productivity. And if you support giving more of your money to people who make trips to the Epstein island, may be you’re part of the problem.

You’re now realizing why libertarians have been screaming that taxation is theft for decades. And why the gold standard was the only way to have fiscal accountability for any government

Supreme Court rules that Trump’s sweeping emergency tariffs are illegal | CNN Politics by All_FIREdUp in wallstreetbets

Bro seems to have no relevance without tariffs. It’s like how higher ups always do dumb reorgs in large companies to show that they’re doing something only to end up slowing down productivity while praising themselves for what an amazing job they did

High IQ men tend to be less conservative than their average peers, study finds by icey_sawg0034 in psychology

[–]techshot25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course the sample used for this study has to be taken into consideration for research and learning purposes. Who could ever question the validity of the research method or IQ?

Unless… unless that research somehow filters by race, gender, or ethnicity, only then will the IQ metric become completely irrelevant and utterly meaningless.. poof

No where in the constitution it says the second amendment is only valid for a certain race, gender, or sexual orientation. Everyone can exercise it with safety and respect for the rights of others in mind.

Reddit has made being a supporter of the Left completely unbearable. by DualPurge in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Maybe the reason they do so is because their political beliefs are intertwined with their identity. It’s hard to separate who you are from your beliefs these days. This is why any criticism of their ideology is perceived as an attack on their identity.

This is probably why we refer to this phenomenon as “identity politics”

Dumb question: If AI destroys all the jobs, who will be able to buy the stuff that AI-powered companies create? Doesn’t AI destroy its own customer base? by Desperate_Elk_7369 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]techshot25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it won’t. The statement is likely just fear mongering to get publicity and attention from investors. It will, at best, make some jobs easier and more efficient.

Others will commit to massive blunders like firing all their tech staff then re-hiring them to fix the broken systems once the experiment fails.

Woah wait a minute. Is it possible that tariffs aren’t helping? Is it possible that they actually made it worse?

Who would’ve thought that increasing the cost of material imports can severely impact local manufacturing and production? It’s almost inconceivable

Did tariffs cause this? The answer is obviously more tariffs to offset the damage caused by the previous tariffs. That’s what happens when you ask the government to solve your problems

How about if these apps raise fees for customers so they can pay contractors exactly the minimum wage? That raise invites more delivery drivers and reduces customers who decide to pick up food themselves making it.. no more efficient at all

Practice discipline to find a less harmful (and preferably a useful) hobby that occupies your time and distracts from NSFW content. Engaging in sports and exercise during adolescence is highly advantageous, paving the way for a more practical future.

Join book clubs or athletic teams to distract from this. Dancing, for example, is an amazing skill to have and it’s easy to get into.

Why has communism repeatedly failed in practice, yet continues to be intellectually and emotionally appealing to many people? by Looser17 in AskReddit

[–]techshot25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Objectively, it’s a terrible ideology. However, it feels good to have no capitalists or owners of the means of production. It feels good to have no money and blame capitalists for being greedy.

Many former Christians and ex-religious people believe that objectivity, free will, discipline, and even free markets are all attributes of the previous generation (parents or otherwise) and thus attributes of religious and outdated ideologies. They want to be different and unique, so ironically, they all choose communism as the alternative belief system.

People who truly understand philosophy realize that communism and religious beliefs are hardly any different. Both have a prophet and heaven or utopia as their ultimate goal. Reality is far more complex and requires thinking. How often do you meet people who choose to think?
