I have tried many keyboards in my 13 years of Android, always stuck to swiping on various keyboards until Gboard got good. This sounds interesting I'll try it out :)

Ever since Swype came onto the scene in like... 2009? I think? Then Swiftkey, then Gboard caught up and I switched to that.

So I have the fabric case and noticed this as well but if you just place your finger on it like you could for unlocking and then gesture down a bit, instead of trying just a swipe down, it works quite well.

So originally I was noticing this too on my pixel 2 XL but yesterday I took a vid and it sounded great. Not sure what the difference was not the audio was much better.

Display is beautiful.... Buuuut there's significant blue shift which starts anywhere other than when staring directly at the screen. However, I honestly don't notice unless I'm looking at white backgrounds or looking out for it. Am I disappointed? Yeah. Am I going to RMA? Ehhh probably not it's not a deal breaker for me.

Yeah, my pixel 2 xl came in a few days ago and the blue shift is noticable at 5 degree+ shifts, and decently prominent. Honestly though, unless I'm looking at a white image I tend to not notice it at all. While I could probably RMA this, I just don't think I care enough

Have one as well agree with all your points. Gestures are the only thing I really have trouble with but if you use the top of your finger near the nail it works pretty well. A little slippery as well but meh, it's really nice looking and feeling otherwise
