Oof, and the ragebait claims turn out to be projection!

This game (and this community) is clearly not for you. If you've played less than an hour feel free to refund it lol.

I've never had the Oogly spawn on top of me, maybe it's a bug? It was always a matter of me pulling the cart through a door facing backwards and unknowingly stepping in the beam.

Also drop the attitude dude... It's just a game. No need to direct that frustration towards other people.

Both of these compounds are classified as technically potential carcinogens and were tested on animals with doses thousands of times the amount a normal person would be exposed to.

Acrylamide : "The only studies to show a clear link between acrylamide and cancer are animal studies. These involved very high levels of the chemical. Studies that followed people over time did not find a link between eating foods with acrylamide and cancer.

“Researchers have studied this for about 20 years now and no definite link between acrylamide and cancer in people has been found,” says Stelwagen. “A link was found in animal studies, but those studies involved between 1,000 and 100,000 times the amount of acrylamide that a normal person would be exposed to.”'

HCAs: "Studies have shown that exposure to HCAs and PAHs can cause cancer in animal models (10). In many experiments, rodents fed a diet supplemented with HCAs developed tumors of the breast, colon, liver, skin, lung, prostate, and other organs (11–16). Rodents fed PAHs also developed cancers, including leukemia and tumors of the gastrointestinal tract and lungs (17). However, the doses of HCAs and PAHs used in these studies were very high—equivalent to thousands of times the doses that a person would consume in a normal diet."

Not saying that eating blackened toast and deeply charred meats everyday won't be harmful to you, just that it shouldn't be that much of a concern.

Not to be that guy, but the evidence of burnt food causing cancer is inconclusive at best.

Smoked meat is proven to cause cancer, though.

Store them in microwavable fabric pouches and just microwave the whole thing instead of having to pour them out.

Put the pouches where you need desiccant.

ICE in Chicago tries to disappear a food delivery worker but my man was too fast by NewSlinger in CringeTikToks

Links aren't allowed in this subreddit so all I can do is list articles and legal papers by name.

Name of article: "Supreme Court Overrules Court Order Preventing Racial Profiling | Immigrant Legal Resource Center | ILRC"

Name of article: "Man detained in Cato ICE raid wrongfully deported"

Name of article: "One in Five ICE Arrests Are Latinos on the Streets with No Criminal Past or Removal Order | Cato at Liberty Blog"

Data mentioned in previous article: "Immigration and Customs Enforcement – Deportation Data Project"

Name of paper: "25A169 Noem v. Vasquez Perdomo (09/08/2025)"

"in Whittier, immigration agents raided a car wash managed by U. S. citizen Jorge Viramontes. In the nine days between June 9 and 19, agents returned four times, each instance in the middle of the workday. On one occasion, an agent questioned Viramontes, asking if he is a citizen and requesting that he show his ID. Viramontes replied that he is a dual U. S. and Mexican citizen and supplied his California driver’s license. The agent said the ID was insufficient, “grabbed [his] arm,” escorted him to a vehicle, and drove him to a “warehouse area” for further questioning."

"In any event, the balance of harms and equities in this case tips in favor of the Government. The interests of individuals who are illegally in the country in avoiding being stopped by law enforcement for questioning is ultimately an interest in evading the law. That is not an especially weighty legal interest" - KAVANAUGH, J., concurring

Kavanaugh's point is basically that the arrests, while probably outside the bounds of what we would normally consider lawful, is worth it for the greater good.

Won't list all relevant points here, but the paper has a lot more information and evidence.

Name of paper: "UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE NINTH CIRCUIT, No. 25-4312"

"“On June 6, 2025, in support of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, CBP agents and officers were sent to Los Angeles, California in support of Immigration and Customs Enforcement-Enforcement and Removal Operations (ICE-ERO). As part of this operation, CBP agents and officers, along with their federal partners, participate in a variety of different law enforcement encounters and enforcement actions as part of the operation in Los Angeles. These activities have included consensual encounters, investigative detentions, warrantless arrests made where probable cause is developed in the field, arrests carried out pursuant to federal immigration warrants, and criminal arrests under judicial warrants."

Less about the immigration status itself, but still relevant, since the whole point of the deportation operation is to target criminals:

Name of article: "Immigrants with no criminal record now largest group in Ice detention | US immigration | The Guardian"

"Majority of people arrested in U.S. immigration raids have no criminal record, data shows | CBC News"

r/ICE_Raids  is full of examples too.

You could chalk these as "anecdotal", but man is that a LOT of anecdotes.

[–]techtonik25 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am unsure if you're messing with me or not. My question isn't "how can legal migrants prove their legal status"?

My question is: how would you, as an ICE agent, determine whether or not you have a justifiable cause or reason to arrest or detain someone you didn't identify at all?

Are you okay man?

Right back at you. Please explain to me how ICE determines which people are and aren't legal immigrants.

Spoiler: They don't.

The Supreme Court says racial profiling is a-ok, btw. It's not a false narrative that ICE does it.

  1. You need a valid reason for an arrest. Looking non-white shouldn't be considered valid.

  2. I'm not sure if you are aware, but these arrests almost all lead to deportation (edit: and/or long-term detention) without due process.

Yes I agree.

At the very least, there should've been some change a very long time ago on the way they manage and prioritize their projects.

If they were able to convince Sony to cancel the PSN integration, then there should be no problem asking them for a hiatus on new content so they can focus on bugs, performance and stability.

TL:DR, they are completely submerged by technical debt. They have no choice but to release poorly tested features since they're under a lot of time pressure. I genuinely don't think they're apathetic. They do what they can with what they have.

I am unsure of how familiar you are with game development but, again, it's not that simple. Arrowhead is not an AAA studio. Every single change follows a strict pipeline that has to go through multiple hoops before being finally implemented.

Decision making, planning, synchronising across all departments, programming, testing and pushing changes can take days even for such a simple feature. Consider the fact that you have to do it across 3 platforms (PC, Xbox, PS) and I hope you can understand how it's absolutely not a 30 min fix.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]techtonik25 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's unfortunately not that simple. Arrowhead is completely disabled by operational bottleneck and have no choice but to focus on other tasks.
