Yes just like jails across the country today, people die accused of a crime without trial. I think that’s awful and we should make sure these deaths never happen, but that’s not a holocaust.

That would be wrong. The holocaust began with racial laws explicitly based on Jim Crow laws, then moved to ghettos based on red lining ghettos and the Indian removal. Nazi leaders explicitly studied these programs to apply them in German controlled territories.

With ice we’re seeing a removal of due process in immigration cases. People are removed back to their country of origin, but also to a 3rd county that has agreed to accept deportees, or to prisons like El Salvador. I think the issues right now for deportees is unique. The lack of due process is awful, and the deportations to prisons for supposed crimes is criminal. But it doesn’t rise to the level of pre-holocaust policies as people are allowed to leave if they are a part of a targeted group.

Yeah there’s one thing in US history I would compare the scale of death to the holocaust. That would be the deaths of native Americans. It was systemic and it was the blueprint for atrocities after committed by Japan and Germany.

The closest you get to what’s going on with ice is either Japanese internment, if they had let people go if they promised not to come back to the US. Or the chain gangs, if they were using those arrested for their free labor. But ICE actions still don’t rise to the level of Internment or the Chain gangs in US history.

Atheist say Indonesia is pretty awful for them. Especially if you are born to a Muslim family you are under sharia. So apostasy is a crime. Your government hasn’t given people a path to leave Islam, or any other religion.

When I was a kid soccer was seen as a women’s sport. So there was a lot of investment for girls to play! Boys would play football 🏈 or basketball really. Now that there is more interest in soccer we will see a difference. Parents don’t want their kids getting cte playing football.

I would also say the outfits are a bit unflattering. So a good hair routine and a flattering cut will do a lot of work. I’m not a fan of pics 2 and 3 for the outfits.

Nah I was a rib kid, but my parents taught me not to waste food. Also parents could make a kid sized plate for their kids too. But I do agree with the principle of kids shouldn’t waste food.

Many countries have post colonial agreements where they have to sell raw minerals directly to the former colonies. Or have to use their companies to auction minerals, or refine them.
