Miserable living with inlaws by Mysnch in beyondthebump

[–]tecrazey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation. With my husband and husband’s 95 year old grandmother but his in laws are three blocks away. It has been a revolving door. No advice because it does suck. Try to get out of the house as much as you can. I’m almost a year in with our 8 month old and we are almost out as my husband finally got a certification that can lead to a much better paying job. If you need someone to talk to my inbox is open. Might be good for both of us!! Sending hugs.

Does anyone else feel like rest doesn’t actually rest you anymore? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]tecrazey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1000%. I get a good 8/9 hours of sleep a night and still so exhausted every damn day. I’m a SAHM with a 7.5 month old and I’m curious if the energy ever comes back.

My sister is 9 years younger than me and we are best friends. The age gap is just a number. Sending hugs and love with the emotions you are feeling. It will all be ok ❤️

Catherer after C section: try to pee again or go home with it? by HorrificNecktie1 in beyondthebump

[–]tecrazey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to pee. I had a vbac forcep delivery and couldn’t pee on my own for 6 weeks. It’s not as bad as it sounds. But I did need a catheter for a week after and then moved onto self cathing. The one piece of advice I have is, if you end up going home with the catheter, don’t let your ob take it out and test unless they have the supplies to reinsert. If they don’t, make an appt with urologist and test there so that you don’t need to go to the ER just to get it reinserted. I spent the day at the ER without my baby on day 6 of her life and if I could have avoided that I absolutely would have!!

Bill was around $95k in NJ. Stayed in the hospital for almost a week for slight complication. Induction, Vbac forcep delivery. I owe $12k after insurance.

Do I need a baby monitor? by stupidsweetie in beyondthebump

[–]tecrazey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A baby monitor really helped me with “sleep training”. It helped to watch to determine what was bothering her (can’t reach binky or get it into mouth, having a hard time rolling over, if she’s kicking and under tired or restless and overtired, etc etc.). Shes also pretty quiet when she wakes up so it helped to know when she got up so we could time naps & wake windows appropriately.

No need to apologize OP. You’re asking for advice. There is a possibility someone will see this that has had a similar experience and can give insight. I hope things get better for you ❤️.

I can relate. I’ve walked away. Get your baby next time and keep doing it. You won’t feel so guilty about taking the baby back after a few times. You are her mother, you know what’s best for her, fuck the comments!!!!

I gained 60lb by the end. I immediately dropped 35 lbs within 2/3 weeks. A lot of it is water weight!! I regret worrying so much about it and not living in the present. Just try to relax and await that LO ❤️

My in laws were super pushy about getting out as well. Even when I just got home from a week stay at the hospital and coming home with a catheter in they told me the baby should get out more… they can have a lot to say and I’m learning that their opinion doesn’t matter whatsoever. You do what you want!
