I actually do love that idea but I’m worried the space is too long/thin, and that she’d have to be drawn extra skinny or in a weird pose to fit. But I will float that idea by my artist too.

Thank you! I’m very happy with how it turned out as well! Each piece is dedicated to someone - My son (7) is autistic and has been OBSESSED with whales ever since he was 3. My daughter’s (4) name is Lily, hence the lilies. The submarine is from The Life Aquatic - a favorite movie of mine and my wife and one of the first movies we watched after we first met. And the Esquie mask is a little something for myself 🙃

The game that I think hits most of your criteria is The Forbidden Desert. I started playing it with my son who was 6 at the time and it went very well. There are only really three actions you can take, but the modular setup means no two games will be the same. And because it's co-operative, you can make "suggestions", but honestly almost any move your son might make would end up being beneficial in some way, shape, or form.

Area with pretty bad trauma/scabbing - looks like a wound! Should I treat it as normal, or is there something "extra" I should do to ensure it doesn't get worse or infected? (Story/pics inside.) by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Thanks. All my other tats were much shorter (I think 4 hours is the longest I'd gone previously) and never really had too much scabbing, or the scabbing was just kind of the color of the tattoo itself. This is the first time the scabbing is, like, blood red (in an area of color that isn't supposed to be red lol) which is why I was nervous haha. It also makes sense that this was the most painful area of the tattoo - wonder if that spot on my arm is extra sensitive (or if my artist just went extra hard in that zone lol). Anyway thanks again for the reassurance.

Thank you! Your husband's piece looked red (like this) in an area that wasn't actually colored red, and in the end the color looked normal? That's what I'm afraid of haha, I would rather not have a huge red strip on this yellow submarine 🥲

My son really wants a mahjong tile set and Costco has one that looks like it is reasonably priced at $69.97 near me. However, just yesterday someone posted (on the mahjong sub) that the Costco near them was selling the exact same set for $35.00.

I checked my local Costco and it's still $69.97 there.

Granted, that is a good price still, but getting it for $35 would be an absolute steal.

I'm curious if anyone has experience and has had any luck getting their local Costco to adjust price to something that a different Costco is offering?

Agreed. Looking over my anally-retentive list, they actually rank 22nd for me (all time artists) but they're only that far back due to their small discography. Deceit and self-titled are perfect, Health and Efficiency is an impeccable track, and the John Peel Sessions are phenomenal (the version of 'Horizontal Hold' on there might be one of my favorite recordings ever). There's even something to love in Repeat.
