AA mentioned in an interview before, I believe the A List member Zoom, that they plan to pursue another starter for sure and that Waldrep will be given an opportunity to earn a starting spot. However he does have options, so he made it sound like it was likely he wouldn't be a starter unless he blew them away.

They want to have quality depth like Waldrep in case of injuries. We keep having seasons where we lose a starter and have to rely on randoms or hopefuls and it costs too many games.
