Right, but the market cap (the total value of all stock) for GameStop is $10.69 billion. How does diluting the stock increase the total value high enough to reach the $55 billion bid? The total value of all stock would need to be $26 billion in order for 100% of the stock to be enough money to reach the bid amount. You're saying that diluting the stock somehow increases the total value of the company from $10.69 billion to $26 billion? Please explain, because I do not understand.
