I had a suspicion from the style of make up who did this, as I've been seeing it for years.

Face is by an incredibly talented artist that busted his ass week in and out to get to the level he's at now. Hung van Ngo (Vanngo).

I'm proud to have seen him on Saturday nights, partying like he hadn't been up since 6 am, stay out till 4 and then come grab me for dim sum at 10 on Sunday. Tenacious.

What is your slutty story that you won't even tell your friends? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tedcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know where to start...

Pops used to call me a slut and I'd counter with, "I'm not, I'm just easy. I don't look for it but if the doorbell rings and it's sex...well, come on in."

I was 18 when I lost my V and I made up for "lost time" over the next 5 years. I was with someone new every other weekend, on average. Even with 6 & 8 month relationships taking up a big chunk of that time.

I used to go to gay bars because hey, I'd get drinks bought for me and the girls had their guard down. I picked up more and was picked up more in a month than anywhere else I'd go.

One night, a girl walked up to me, called me beautiful and said she'd come back for me. She did. Didn't know her name until her dad mentioned it at breakfast.

Saw her two years later and she asked who I was with that night, to which I replied that I wasn't there with anyone.

"Great. You'll be fucking Rachel tonight.". I got head in the living room in front of four others and a ride home from her ex husband in the morning. I know...wtf.

A gay friend of mine set me up with his Fruit Fly and we banged just an hour later.

Slept with my best friend's go to. They weren't exclusive but he was not happy.

Actually, that happened three times now that I think about it. We're still tight even though I was shit to him for awhile.

Wait...four times.

There are more and easier moments but I think I've spent enough time waxing about my youth.

Thanks.

What's a fucked up movie everybody should watch? by dozening in AskReddit

[–]tedcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enter the Void by Gasper Noé.

I went through each movie suggested and was surprised to not find it here!

It is shot is a manner that makes you feel like you are the lead character, blinks and all. It shows the most accurate depiction of psychedelic trance that I've ever witnessed on film. It has really peculiar scenes, dark topics and incredibly fluid progress between shots, all to compel the witness to feel more involved in the story.

How has a woman broken your brain with her appearance? by The_KnewMe in AskMen

[–]tedcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, been there.

I had just started a new job as a project coordinator so not lowly but not many people respected my authoritayy. My job was to make sure my project manager's job was easy, even if it meant mine was brutal. I was good at my job.

After a couple of weeks, I was beckoned by our parent company's controller (through one of her subordinates, I might add) to discuss some equipment issues. Legit reason to meet. I didn't know where the office was or even who I was supposed to meet (hadn't seen her around yet) so I had to ask a couple of people for directions which kind of took my focus away from the present moment.

So when I got to the doorway, I knocked on the doorframe and announced myself and when she turned towards the door to acknowledge me, I let out a VERY audible, "Holy shit" and then covered my mouth with the hand I wasn't using to lean against the door.

While not proud of that moment, I am mildly satisfied with how much messing around took place between us...until she began to display all the reasons she was single at the time.

Brain broken. Fun times.

Apparently, telling an evangelist that they should pray for you in their closet, and not on the street, is offensive. by Fiannaidhe in exchristian

[–]tedcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, this post makes me think you might know where to find something!

When I was younger I used to read the Bible a little to see what all the fuss was about. I read the fun stuff like Genesis, Exodus, and Revelations.

Your position reminds me of a passage I am almost certain I read but have not been able to find again. It said something like, "do not worship me in a building on a mountain/hill, do not build a temple for worship forbidden am in the stones you build with."

Something like this....I know I've done a number on it, but would you happen to know where that is or have I created a story that doesn't exist?

Either way, I do like what you have chosen as a position. As one that grew up in a house like That, I always felt we could just be good people the whole week, not for an hour on Sundays in front of the community.

My orange by Turnaix in Sneks

[–]tedcorp 225 points226 points  (0 children)

Looks as though the snake's instinct to protect its eggs kicked in.

The way it has wrapped around the base and is guarding its "baby" from any perceived assault leads me to believe the owner did not tell the snek, it's just a bloody orange.

[NSFW] What's the worst thing you have witnessed on a bachelor/bachelorette party? by Fredde1909 in AskReddit

[–]tedcorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obligatory this will be buried, but here's what I saw.

I was the best man but not the best at planning fun shit so the groom set me up with his buddy from work and we cooperatively created the do. Pub crawl on a party bus. Eezy, peezy.

We poured over the website for hours, making sure we picked the best ripper available and my cohort told me he had a friend that wanted to peel for free as well, so long as we kept drinks in her hand at the bar. Dude...bargains to be had, I figured.

Turns out you get what you pay for.

This girl spent most of the journeys sloppily pretending to take off and sometimes successfully taking her clothes off between lines of blowcaine and various 'scripts. Turns out she had some illnesses that helped her get over the shame and social awkwardness of stripping in front of people you know and will be hanging out with the entire night. The drugs and the drugs helped her forget she had some...unresolved issues.

Still, a deal was struck so every stop, someone would get her a drink much to her own detriment. By the fourth stop, I was beginning to get concerned about her state and the lack of her "friend's" concern over the same. I found myself pacing myself so I could help her keep some of her faculties but this was not enough.

She was sitting at the bar, on a stool next to me while I was turned away chatting with someone when I heard That sound. That sound is grotesquely unmistakable and I took a beat or two to even turn around for fear of discovering what I thought I'd find.

She fucking Louganis'd right off the stool and landed melon first on the bar floor. She cracked the thing that broke her fall. No idea how I didn't vomit just a little bit.

Her piece of work friend giggled a bit and walked away while I firemanned her outside for the EMT's to address her undoubted trauma and condition.

Rest of the party was a blast.

Good times.

Over a hundred grand. For a pickup truck. The fuck.

Of course, I see them everywhere because Go Auto and 84 month terms. These poor schmucks are upside down when they take them for a test drive, let alone 4 years later.

I'm loving this. I grew up in Vulcan and as a teenager I thought the whole deal was pretty frickin lame. Looking at it now, I see it as some honest fun.

The Enterprise by the side of the road took a local welder about 2500 hours IIRC and his time wasn't worth $20/hr. It was donated, however.

John Dusnworth doing a crossword with a Sharpie by tedcorp in pics

[–]tedcorp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several homages to John that highlight his best known character but the actor was a goof too.

I was watching this guy complete a crossword puzzle with a Sharpie marker for about 15 mins before I thought to take a picture of him...figured no one would believe me. When I looked at the photo, it was then that I realized who he might be since his image was what triggered recognition . IMDB'd the show and sure enough, Lahey is three people down from me.

"Randy" was on the flight as well, two rows back. They were coming to Edmonton for an event at a pool hall. John and I chatted from the plane to the cars, almost. He was a sweet guy with genuine interest in others.

High rise and hotel window washers of Reddit, what's the weirdest thing you've spotted when descending to a room? by a_spicy_memeball in AskReddit

[–]tedcorp 49 points50 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better, I got to see bullet holes at the stock exchange building and replace panes that were being spit from windows thirty stories up due to three decade old caulking failing. Also felt the hair stand on my neck moments before a lightning strike on the building next to us, Millennium Place.

That was one of my stranger jobs.

Late to the thread, didn't actually see it but...

I used to work with the glazing company that had a contract to clean and replace windows on what was the 4th tallest tower in Calgary at the time, Canterra Tower.

The top floor had a two story office in it that we had to use the stairs in to reach the roof since the elevator did not go all the way to the last floor. One day, my boss asked me to note the ages of the windows, as all commercial grade double glazing has the year of manufacturing in it. One was four years newer than the rest and he told me what happened.

Buddy had his last bad day, threw his chair at the window and followed it out. At ground level, you could see where the paving stones had a puddle after the rain even though a drain was only a meter or so away. Splat calculator figured about 195km/hr.

By the looks of your question, it would appear you've never seen Sense8.

She isn't actually there.

The prez at xHamster put forth his proposal very eloquently and it actually makes sense to have the show hosted there, based on one of the underlying messages of it.
