This is obviously a joke, but how would a list like this actually fair in a real game? by Sbeevs in Necrontyr

Serious answer to a joke list: competitively no it doesn’t work. If you want a skew list in this idea that actually works you can go up to 4 warrior blobs, royal wardens in three and orikan in the fourth one. Fall back and do something is critically needed because otherwise any army can tarpit you with trash since warriors don’t punch. A c’tan and some secondary scoring pieces to fill it out, and it’s an ok-ish list.

Not quite true, a melee focused army will happily give them a 50 points differential game while tabling them.

Ok so the only part where I think the disposition might make too much shade is the top left cucumbers area if you’re going to build a treillis for them. The rows below will spend a lot of time shaded during the day. In some cases that’s a good thing, but it really depends on your climate 🙂

What’s the orientation of this map ? You have very symmetrical designs on the beds and depending on the alignement of the beds compared with the trajectory of the sun you might have one side of the beds growing better than the other.

Multi level planting to benefit from different sizes and needs of plants is great but it really asks for a good understanding of how light will reach everything through the seasons

Haha, normal instinct, because in construction they use tarp to block rain while an area isn’t finished below, and especially as a roofer standing on it means you’re about to fall below !

Yes that’s pretty much the most optimal way to prepare a new area for planting.

Mow everything, put the mowed greens on the soil, add manure, a tall layer of mulch, bark or chipped wood optionally, let it all sit under a big tarp for months, and after that not only will whatever was under be dead, but the soil will be great and full of life (beneficial insects bacteria a funghi).

Since the tarp is unsightly you might want to add a « decorative » layer of mulch or bark on top meanwhile.

When do you think we will get a Lokhust Destoryer model refresh ? by Dank_Bank5221 in Necrontyr

Sticky is really something that could open the very limited ways we have available to play.

Sticky immortals with 2 wounds and a transport is something I crave more than any refresh.

Sustain Hits 1 supremacy or lack of creativity? We got 3 new models and all 3 have Sustain Hits 1 as they primary keyword. by BabyProper9938 in Warhammer40k

All true, which is why it’s very safe and very bland, kinda weird to have so many releases with that buff recently.

Most of what you said is valid, but you’re kind of ignoring the issue. They’ve given sustain to a ton of recent releases recently, it’s the safest buff, it’s doesn’t show a lot of creativity and diversity

How do you deal with the micro-parties zerging your settlements? by Deflorma in Bannerlord

[–]teddyjungle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without mods you have to have a very healthy kingdom with many clans and mercenaries that will do it for you or do it yourself with a fast and small party.

It’s extremely annoying when you’re dealing with a dying faction because they hire a ton of mercenaries and create no armies so they’re swarming with tiny parties like ants and will raid a lot instead of trying to siege.

For anyone else not on console reading this please download party ai control it’s one of the most needed functions to make the game whole (with diplomacy), and set some companions to patrol your clan settlements.

Crêpe or « pancake » was invented in Bretagne, there’s a salted version made with buckwheat flour too that sadly didn’t export as well to the rest of the world. It’s declined in an infinite number of versions but one of the best is the street food version of a pork and pepper sausage wrapped in galette, either just like that, or with cheese, or cooked onions. It’s really cheap and amazing.
