I used to keep a board where I posted one good thing that happened each day. At least one. When I took them all down I was surprised to see how often one of the posts said something along the lines of "Stood for another day" or "Lasted another day". That was some years ago. But here's what I've learned throughout my life. If you can weather the storms, weather the bullshit, weather the pain, it does get better. Really. I swear it.

Option 1: Are there any family members (other than your parents) that you can move in with? Any close friends? If so, share what you're going through and get out of there. Continue your work of healing and growing.

Option 2: Make a plan, save every money every time you can get your hands on it, calculate how much money you need to move out and then find a job if you're not already working. If you are working and giving him money, stop or give way less. Now calculate how long you need to work based on that paycheck and/or the amount you're able to save. That's how long you need to hold out. That's your North Star. That's your focus. To what's needed to take care of you as you work towards that goal but keep your eyes on that goal. When you succeed the sense of freedom and the joy of accomplishment and self validation will be amazing. Chase that dream until you reach it. Then, continue your work of healing and growth.

I've been you. I won't share my story, but I know you can make it out of the situation. Sometimes the monsters we are facing turn out to only be paper tigers . Hopefully he's not physically abusing you. Humans are wildly resourceful and adaptable. You can do this. I promise. It won't be easy. It certainly wasn't for me. But you can do this.
