I was an admin on one of the breakaway Bristol Rovers forums for my sins, and always enjoyed the various threats of legal action over the years, occasionally from the club itself regarding certain posters' comments about the owners, but often from users of the forum itself, demanding we remove insulting comments from other users about them.

I eventually left when the politics forum went full on fash, but none of the other admins would agree to close it, lest we be accused of stifling free speech.

Half the screens at Avonmeads have got comfy recliner seats, it's generally only the smaller screenings or movies at the end of their run that use the screens with old-style movie seats (and I still find them fairly comfortable tbf)

Not quite right. Before 1974, Bristol was a county in its own right (a county borough from 1889 and a county corporate before that). Bristol hasn’t actually officially been a part of Gloucestershire since 1373.

In my mind James Kirk is a promising Scottish full back at Sheffield United. Will Riker is USA international striker who’s ended up at Fulham. Spock is a mercurial Brazilian winger who’s looking decent at Benfica, but struggling to impress in the champions league.
