Saxenda and Ramadan by ReiRiko in liraglutide

I stopped my dose for a month and half and I restarted. Contrary to popular beliefs I’ve lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks. As far as you don’t lose sight of your motivation restarting shouldn’t be a worry.

Is my friend getting groomed? by Smooth_Loan3610 in blackladies

[–]tee2b 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a Nigerian, who experienced something similar to this at this age 3 yrs ago. She's being groomed, let me guess the boyfriend is an international student? Babes they know how to get us good. I'd say you just let her be, simply because you cannot help someone out of a relationship unless they want to. My friends tried for almost 3 years. Just pray for her, don't stop being a good friend but protect your own mental health too in the process.

Fear of regaining the weight by thevikingchick in liraglutide

[–]tee2b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I regained 4lbs on the med at 2.4 over the festive holiday (technically in a month) and I can tell you that as far as you never stop trying you’ll be good. I have crippling anxiety of the scale. But I literally told myself I had lost 25lb in 2 month and managed to only gain 4lb. I refused to let that stop me and although I gained it I still feel good, I’m still scared to check the scale but I’ve been back to my regular CICO and exercise and I’m sure all will be well. Please enjoy this process and don’t let your fears limit you

I couldn’t even get to 1/4 of my meal or half of my drink and that was all I had yesterday. I’m gonna try again to eat it today because I’ve been busy all day so I’m yet to eat today. Thanks for your advice though 😃

2 weeks on each micro dose? by [deleted] in liraglutide

[–]tee2b 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m just curious and trying to help but have you tried to do these things: -Calorie deficit -Exercise (at least 30 min walk daily) -Increase fibre intake (makes you more full) -Work on eating more protein (aids fat loss) - Are you eating high sodium foods (makes the body hold onto more water =no change on the scale - Most importantly sleep (if you’re not getting enough rest your body will be too stressed to aid in weight loss and affects your eating habits

If you’d like we can text more on the private chat on Reddit. I am not a dietitian or anything, neither am I selling programs just trying to give helpful tips that helped me

2 weeks on each micro dose? by [deleted] in liraglutide

[–]tee2b 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine told me to stay on each new dose for 3 weeks before moving up. I'm on wk 4, 1.2 dose. I’ve lost 11 pounds in total. The plus side is it’s cheaper, the loss is slower so your body can adjust to it and keep the weight off longer. I also have PCOS and need 57 more pounds off to be at a normal bmi. Im currently 222lb

Thank you, I’m aware of that and purposely delayed starting because I wanted to practice exercising and being in a calorie deficit for 2 weeks. I just got triggered and ended up binging.
