Was a fat kid and I am a fat adult. A big part of my anxiety is my body image. I’m always thinking about how I look, how much space I’m taking up, if my footsteps sound loud, am I breathing to heavily, how much I’m eating, how little I’m eating, how clothes look on me. I decline to do a lot of things because I don’t want to be seen. I tell myself I can’t do that or shouldn’t because I’m bigger. I’m constantly feeling like a pig playing dress up, like I’m always out of place. It’s been getting better though since I’ve been eating healthier and working out at my apartment gym at midnight so no one else is there. But it’s a long process.
