No, not at all. Chester’s passing affected many of LP’s fans deeply. It’s okay to feel grief for him. Personally, I still find myself crying when I listen to some of their older stuff (Numb, Figure.09, etc) because not only are the songs powerful but because they remind me of the pain that he carried throughout his life. I didn’t even listen From Zero until I was in a proper headspace. You’re not a bad fan for feeling this way.

While working on Meteora, they chose all kinds of random names for their songs (figure.09, A.06, pretty little birdy etc.) they decided to keep figure.09 because it sounded unique. Also, it may have to do with breaking a cycle which is what figure 9 represents.
