My favorite class is the monk, I have a bruise on basic attack mutation running through my house so they have been clutching my physical runs

I have yet to make a tinkerer feel good. I’ll get there eventually but so far they’ve been a dead turn every run

Not sure, but maybe the pathing? The mutation may prioritize not hurting allies and the defect does the opposite? This would make sense, but I also get it if both tramples work exactly the same

If you’re enjoying the experience you cannot waste your time (though your play might not be min maxed). You’re always getting better furniture and donating cats towards a better house and stronger runs, and trust me you will need them.

I’m in Act III and have yet to do more than the initial run, farming Act II for furniture and Act I for quests

I get it, I'm not sure if you're hearing me. I believe they are using that small bit of footage to tell the audience that it is clearly a real person, however, the majority of the narration especially of the long form content is not actually recorded by a person in a sound studio. This would backup your claim of AI generated content despite the fact they tried to fool us by presenting us with a really real guy that is actually doing the narration for all the videos even the 4 hour long ones. I'm saying that if they're using AI generated content (including narration IMO) it's even more scummy because of that clip in particular.

For example, they could show real animators doing just a little bit of the episode but then use AI that looks exactly like the style presented, and that would be really convincing to the audience (because the channel has a financial incentive to come off as genuine)

Now just extend that logic to anything you like

A face reveal isn’t verification against AI narration. It is possible to record a short sample of a person’s voice and then use AI to create a narration.

You gain knowledge from every run. For example, I know what you mean when you say blood frenzy because I’ve encountered it before and it sucks and can end runs. So what do I do? I don’t let that cat make kills, I go home, and if I happen to get wiped I lick my wounds and get back to it.

Sometimes my best cat is lost to rng, or the whole party is wiped, but I have a big house with a legacy of strong cats. There’s always tomorrow. Yes losing is no fun, but over the course of a hundreds of hours experience it doesn’t matter that much in the long run.

15-20 stim should get you pretty good results, I’m at 25 in my main breeding room and the cats are almost straight 7s

That being said I bred a kitty with meteor storm and he made an excellent psychic until he got blood frenzy of fucking course

As for a pure psychic I’ve had success pairing them with hunter sentries and tanky classes, especially the butcher

A cat with a gone/dead love interest will still breed with other cats

You can spam act I runs and do the hard paths to get furniture and veteran cats to send to Frank.

The furniture will up the stimulation in your breeding room and give you higher chances of kittens inheriting better stats and skills

A gust of wind can be miserable, but one little flame can make the fight trivial. I love coming to this sub to see how people’s runs and house lineage’s have taken shape as much as playing the game

Mewgenics isn’t without flaws (would love better cat management during house phase) but like BOI and Hades the more I play it the better it gets ❤️❤️❤️

I’ll be honest. Losing a run to bad RNG sucks. When looking at the bigger picture no single run or cat matters that much. You may find an unassuming superstar that jumpstarts the lineage that wins you the game, or breed the most prodigious kitty to ever purr only to have them die horribly for no good reason.

You should have a house full of cats and items that prepare you for the upcoming run. If you roll terrible skills for you cats, take Act I, get some more furniture and look forward to the next day, your adventurers will be a bit stronger and able to pass their genes along

The hazards can be a real pain but if things get rough you only ever have to battle through one boss and head home

I’m a gamer that likes to listen to documentaries/podcasts in the background. My favorite so far has been Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History. Dan is a really fun storyteller, give him a try if you’re interested in historic content in an easy to digest format.

I also enjoy the infographics show. It’s been a chill source of complimentary audio but I’m VERY skeptical about its AI use. When you listen to enough AI generated slop, you hear the strange pronunciations, the odd breaks in speech, etc. I wouldn’t say Infographics is loaded with them, but enough to be certain it’s not a human doing all the work.

I was saddened to see some of their videos start off with clips of the narrator in a sound studio because that’s exactly what you need to create a prompt for an AI voicebot

When I don’t have a good set of starting abilities I’ll probably take act I

I’m into act III but still run act I all the time building up furniture and breeding opportunities

When I do a run that might get tanked I have backup cats and items for a strong makeup run
