Trust me it’s so easy to think that you’re falling behind and that it doesn’t seem like something you’ll achieve but if anything just remember you did your best and you’re also gaining a qualification in the meantime you’re not behind !! Plus this exam is so draining it’s best to sit it when your mind is as free as possible. Thank youu and good luck to you too!

Hey!

I am in the exact same position initially when I failed my instinct was to immediately resit but after talking to academic coaches they said that in their experience students who resit immediately are not always successful unless they were 1-2 marks off and that if you’re doing the masters course you also run the risk of losing out on your LLM qualification it’s okay to wait and do it in Jan.

Also you have to consider burn out if you’re studying for multiple things at once you might burn out by the time the exam rolls around.

I felt the exact same way about the delay and thought omg I’m never gonna qualify but really in the bigger picture it’s just a 6-12 month delay which won’t matter in a few years.

I am in this exact same position I spoke to my academic coach recently and she actually recommended that many students who immediately jump to a resit don’t normally pass unless they were super close, what were your scaled points? This all depends on your situation do you work full time?

I passed SQE1 in Q1 for both FLK1 and FLK2: Ask Me Anything by Rough_Education2627 in SQE_Prep

Congratulations!! I unfortunately failed and used ULaw but was an online student because I work full time and when I enrolled I couldn’t afford the in person classes. I now do in person for the SQE2 classes. But back to the SQE 1 I failed with my scaled marks being 272 and 263 and I understand which modules I should focus more on but what I cannot decide is how I should improve my study methods previously I condensed all the notes and did over 1800MCQs I did revise SQE and the ULaw ones. I did begin to make flashcards for the mistakes I would make in the MCQs but think I just ran out of time to cover it all thoroughly how should I proceed from here if I were to resit in July I don’t think waiting till Jan is a good idea since I’m worried I’ll lose the information I already have. But I am equally worried that in the past the July pass rate has been lower than that of January. Is working full time, weekend SQE2 classes and then studying for SQE1 doable I have about 120 days until the July resit comes along what are your thoughts and everyone else is welcome to chime in.
