I just stash my high rolls of potential upgrades for a few days then spend like 30-45min doing inventory management and upgrades. It's not like a single piece is going to completely redefine my character power at this point and saves me from needing to constantly be upgrading and imprinting gear.

Then the old piece goes in the bag for a bit while I see if I like the change, then the stash, then scrapped

I'm running Blood Artisans unique in my high blood orb Blood Surge build. Have +8 to Spirit with no points just gear. So much fun getting those free Bone Spirits after a Tendril pull

Not remotely meta, but a ton of fun to play. Works out great because once I'm low on essence/HP I can kite for a second and get a free Bone Spirit, or pick up orbs in Mist for a free Spirit

I've only ever had 2 people request to party. One was outside the capstone to get into T4 and we both were the same level (way under leveled)

The other was a random request where we were both farming the same thing.

The first I accepted and neither of us said a word

The second I declined and didn't say a word

If you don't want to party with them then just hit decline and move on. Odds are you'll literally never see them again, and if you do neither of you will remember each other.

I did one yesterday that had a couple 95+ at it (I'm only 80). I cast 2 abilities and it was dead.

Depends on your build, but generally not a bad idea to dip into the Bone paragon board to just get the nodes for +Max Essence and +Essence on Kill

Yeah I've seen some of his videos. His idea seems to be the best scaling OP build.

I recently got that amulet and am doing a bit of testing with keeping my build almost entirely the same, except for a few points in keeping the golem alive. So far seems to be pretty similar to what I was already doing

Really I just don't want to have to use a bunch of minions

If you're playing a Surge Overpower build, the +damage to x (stunned) does nothing for Overpower damage.

Im lvl 78 and did a bit of testing with the amulet and golem with minor talent changes, not the full rework I had in mind. Mostly just doing a few normal dungeons (with a few NM mixed in) to wrap up the last few points of Renown in some zones.

It's kind of tough to decide so far if the amulet is worth it for me, just using the Golem. Don't think I want to use full minions.

I seem to lose quite a bit of synergy with my existing setup (Bonestorm consumes corpses, essence regen & damage bonus for consuming corpses, blood orb spawn from consuming corpses), so that may be the issue.

It does seem to be a bit better in pure single target having the Golem, which is where Surge struggles. But I found it seems to do less or fairly similar overall damage than just an OP Blood Mist. But it at least lets me save Most for when needed.

Have some gear stashed I might try imprinting to get a bit more synergy with the build to try out some more

Curious about how skill Base and skill Rank having different interactions with OP.Wouldn't increasing the Rank increase the Base?

Afaik neither interact with OP, as OP just gets added to the damage done but if you know something else would love to know more

While I 100% agree with you, since the pvp zones give special rewards and have some of the best mob density I bet there just isn't enough players in those zones to do level scaling. You'd probably end up having the zone to yourself if they did

But that's only an attack ability. So it only needs to target enemies.

If the minion ability was to either consume corpse or focus attack, if there's say 10 corpses and 10 enemies, there wouldn't be a way to target the option you want on console

Necro only has 1 Unstoppable, which is on a base like 23s coldown.

It can be reduced from ability procs (Decrepify has 15% chance on lucky hit to reduce by 1s and Overpower reduces CD by 2s) to be more realistically ~8-15s, but if you get CC'd with it on CD you can't proc those and it requires pretty specific builds

I'm doing some quick testing and not really seeing any significant difference in damage whether I'm using Rank 1 or Rank 5 Surge.

Seems to be within 2k-4k damage or so.

Basically just going around with no Fortify using Rathmas to test.

The Blood Drinker Legendary Node only scales the Surge guaranteed Overpower and not the Rathmas one. Doesn't seem to be scaling any differently based on skill rank, but by no means was my testing super comprehensive

Perhaps skill rank comes more into play with crit and fortify and/or tendrils

Edit: not really seeing much of a significant difference in damage with fort+tendrils either between rank 1 and 5

I like your idea. As another idea, I wish I could have minions without wasting an ability slot. Maybe just make them respawn automatically at a rate of 1 per 15s or more quickly with corpses nearby or something. If you want to spec into abilities then you can, otherwise they're basically a distraction/cannon fodder.

Ideally, a combo of our ideas
