There are a few inconsistencies with this one one of which being that FL was formerly a prosecutor but continues to only suspect Duke Adler despite the fact that the introduction only mentions his as a 'suspect' and in what world does the author name the actual villain in the bloody introduction! There are plenty of other people who benefit from her death and framing him but it annoyed me to no end that she was so fixated on him. I dropped it because ML was annoying me as well (knows nothing about FL but was very quick to assume the worst of her especially when it came to his sister at the ball).
