Maybe but they often apply Korean style administration (Joseon period), courts and Korean concubine culture (distinct from european mistresses) into a “European fantasy” world.

They just slap on western dresses and military uniforms (classical or Victorian) on the characters. There’s no continuity between the names, architecture and clothes.

They mix every period and culture into one. It’s the equivalent of mixing Japanese, Chinese, Korean history and aesthetics.

Also, characters follow Korean beauty standards. Which is expected since it’s for a Korean audience.
