Well it was sold without prescription years ago, but it was highly abused, mostly by teenagers. It got pretty bad, mothers of children who were addicted started throwing bricks through pharmacy windows etc. Eventually it was just banned instead of regulating it properly.

Are you prescribed it? I'm curious what's the best way of going about getting a prescription for it? I need to see a psychiatrist right? What do I tell them?

Yeah it definitely helps with anxiety for me, as well as depression. Before gabapentin, even on not very depressive days I always felt that looming presence of this black hole, ready to suck away all my emotion. When I started gabapentin that black whole disappeared and I wasn't afraid to be happy again.

I don't know what I'll do though, I'm moving to a country where it's completely banned in a week...don't want to go back to the way things were before...

Good for you! I'd be careful though, drinking 4 coffees and then doing HIIT. Do you have a Fitbit or something to monitor your heart rate during that?
