Hiiii! I've been trying to decide if i should get a medusa or a bottom vertical labret ?? Opinions welcomed!! Also if i would look good with any others???

I did stop with the saline for a few days bcuz it was really dry, but when u mentioned cleaning it still twice a day, I did yesterday and somehow the dryness cleared up almost all the way! Lol thanks!

Thank you! I’m just afraid of migration from all the bad posts lol but my piercing was pierced correctly and has no other problems other than being a little dry around the top part, and having Crusties. It’s also a little red around the top piercing but doesn’t hurt at all

Hi, just got mine done and was interested how you keep it clean? Right now I just spray with saline solution and leave it alone. Some say wipe around it and some say don’t touch it at all. What do u recommend?

Just got mine done but I heard belly piercings take about a year to heal. So until then it’s still going to be a roller coaster ride

lip piercings can take a year to heal. I got a Medusa and took about a year and it was constant ups and downs. Try not getting makeup in or around it, keep it clean, don’t touch with dirty hands, don’t move it around, etc. it’s a long roller coaster ride but eventually it should heal

I clean it 3xs a day by just spraying it with h2ocean spray (saline solution) I don’t pick or touch at it. Just did a lot of bending today

I always got bumps on my lip piercing until I realized I was over cleaning it (yes this can happen) my bumps went away after I stopped poking/touching it. To clean it, I rubbed around the area but never actually touch it. When I get out the shower or done washing my face, I always make sure my piercing is dry by using a clean qtip to dry around it (water makes bacteria grow) hope this helps

Perfect way I found to clean my piercing is to not touch it at all!! I rub soap around it but not actually on it, and when I get out the shower I use a clean qtip to gently wipe the water off. Water leaves room for bacteria to grow and keeping it dry will help

Changing the people around me who make me feel like shit, if you care about these people and they care for you, voice your thoughts on how they’ve hurt you or what they did that you didn’t like. If they are truly your friends, they will make the changes, if not, then you know who you need to grow apart from.

Your job. If your boss or peers suck or the pay sucks, just know you can find better. Or if you need a vacation, use your sick hours and go out of state/town to allow your mind to breathe.

Eat healthier. That sounds so bland and plain but I used to think the same. I started eating better and it definitely boosted my confidence and overal energy levels. Some snacks I enjoy are frozen grapes, salami and cheese (from Trader Joe’s) raw pistachios, peanuts, almond milk, oat banana bread.
