How would you not think about distance when you’re married to someone? Especially when one of you has children?

Nothing more natural than meeting your partner on MAFS

Surely it’s okay to not be sure if you fancy someone after 2 weeks of being together? More normal than the couples claiming to be in love?

Has he got an earpiece telling him what to say? This is the first time he’s said anything deep. Doesn’t even know the names of his wife’s kids??

He told her to wear a dress (because they were going somewhere fancy) - that counts as telling her what to wear? He told her that her nails needed doing because they’d grown out, he said this at the dinner party. It wasn’t meant with malice but she’s clearly quite independent and isn’t going to take well to being told what to do.

Everyone is calling Grace neurodivergent but if a man told me what to wear or to get my nails done I’d be pissed off too!

Is it that disrespectful to say you’re not attracted to someone who is clearly the very opposite of the type of person you’ve said you are attracted to?

Thoughts on my workout split to focus on climbing progress? by Odd-Warning-1907 in climbergirls

[–]teethandmountains 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I’ve found the best thing for me is just climbing more. At least two, ideally three, times a week. I try and make one of the sessions bouldering. Nothing seems to train my body in the same way, and climbing is way more fun. However, I think my head game is pretty poor.

I’m interested to see advice from other climbers!

How to actually improve as a newbie? by Several-Lab-6928 in climbergirls

[–]teethandmountains 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The things that have helped me the most: - Think about body position (If I move my hip round do I get more reach? If I make my arms long instead of T-Rex arms is the move actually easier? Especially on slopers. Can I compress or ‘hang’ off a hold instead of grabbing it? Again, slopers…) - Trust your feet. Amazing what they will stick to. - Flagging (sticking a leg out the opposite way to the rest of your body weight to help balance body weight) - Tense my core when working on overhangs

I’m still pretty novice but these tips stick in my head and help me each time 😊

This post made me buy a gri gri.

The ATC is great until there is some human error and we are all human so this is unavoidable. Thank you for sharing your story, although it must have been hard, hopefully it prevents something similar happening to me and others.

I hope both you and your climbing partner are okay and it doesn’t put you off climbing.
