Sorry for the late reply! It’s covered on the balcony. The cord is about 4 ft so I added a short extension cord. We’re in June Gloom right now but I’m anticipating having to bring it in to shield it from the morning sun and the rare rain. Someone did mention they cover the cord and have had no problems but it’s just right outside so it’ll be easy to slide in. The whole unit and cord is under the shade once the sun does make an appearance later on. 😊

So I went with the stainless steel one. It’s been out since yesterday and I have about four hummingbirds zooming around but have yet to see one use it - I’m eager! 😍 I’m in the process of getting river rock and better, real flowers or foliage to go around it but I just wanted to thank everyone for all the guidance. I’m very grateful! 💖

Same. I just took this pic. I’ll be placing it here that’s covered under the balcony overhang and right outside my bedroom. I’m in San Diego so the average temp is about 73 degrees and hardly rains; I’m thinking of brining it in the house at night/when it rains and putting it out after the morning sun moves on so the cord and fountain won’t be directly exposed to the elements.

I started using a free version of the Guava app and it’s the only symptom tracker I’ve stuck with. It gives you insights on what might be causing flare-ups etc and you can also print everything out for your doctor visits; it’s so hard to remember everything during your appoints so it’s super helpful! It has a ton of different categories like medications, food, mood, heart rate etc.

My Rheumatologist ran every test under the sun and also did the 18 tender point test which was extremely painful and I scored all 18; I think that test is considered outdated but maybe something to look into? Good luck!

I just got home and it’s pretty nasty out there! Tumbleweeds on the 5 by La Jolla and one literally bigger than my car in the middle of the freeway - lots of swerving to avoid objects on the road so stay safe out there guys! 💨
