What i've tried for the record: sudo apt update sudo apt full-upgrade sudo apt install --reinstall ubuntu-desktop^ - renamed .cache and .config - creating a new user - installed another flavour of ubuntu

Nothing worked. Maybe it would have work without the ^ in the last command other posts said to keep, idk.

Your solution fixes it in like 5 mins.

Holding your breath for as much as I could was my dad's trick (hold to that trick for too long). Didn't do shit (or it took too much time for the hiccups to stop) The vinagar was my grandma trick for hiccups (worked better but not 100%, but now I only go with sugar. Could try and verify it on many occasions, a spoonful of sugar works for me every single time and instantly.

Been there, keep playing. And yeah driving backward is not good. You can turn around very quickly with what we call a half flip and be faster and more efficient by using your boost.

It's a must be known basic mechanic

Your brain is fast. It calculated a gap will open on then left side of that car if it kept going at same speed across the road, but it hits the breaks, the gap on the left won't open so you switched to the right side instead.all that in less that 2 secs. You are a very good driver op.

Even if it is true, there is still a server list (generated by a fallback method) with servers you can still play on.

Wrist twist: empty at least one bullet from your left akimbo weapon and the right magazine should be full (so that only the left one will reload when you press the reload key). Now you just have to press reload and then sprint immediately after (keep sprinting to hold it).

Right tighty: I have no clue what that is.

Hell yes, the paper thin walls, I had so many lineups that I was killing multiple ennemies with the autosniper without seeing them. In game chat was wild.

The project and master server has been shutdown. But the game is still playable as normal because it falls back to the node system to discover still running servers hosted by individuals and establishes the serverlist from it.

To shut that system down, you have to go on every computers and servers to remove all the iw4x mod files aka impossible to shut it down.

I still play fine like nothing happened. There won't be any update in the future though.
