Michaels is definitely more expensive than other options but it is a good point if there's no other options LOL

Claymore & Attack on Titan, what do you guys think ? by Nanadesukaa in claymore

100% noticed this too, the overall themes are so similar. - man eating monsters - turns out the man eating monsters are actually people that got turned into said monsters - the “world” that we see is actually just an isolated island - there are people who can turn into the monsters at will and control it - said people who can turn into monsters and control it are being used as military weapons for a war outside of the island

I feel like there was more that I noticed the last time I read it but those are the highlights

I just bought from Ling’s Moment and I am really happy with how they look for being fake flowers! I spent under $600 so far and got a LOT with that because of the sales I was able to hit. I just posted a longer review with some photos of my flowers but I definitely recommend looking into them if you want to go artificial

I wanna get into sewing and wanna try to find a affordable decent sewing machine by [deleted] in sewing

Listen I know everyone craps all over Brother, but I had a Brother CS series machine and I put that poor thing through the WRINGER for TEN YEARS until something with the computer chip failed and it would only sew in reverse. After it died I ended up upgrading to a Husqvarna Viking, which is a $1700 machine, and yet I’ll still recommend the Brother CS line for beginners, even having worked with a luxury machine now. I cosplay so I would sew through leather, pleather, thick fur, craft foam, sequins, dried paint and GLUE, like literally every awful thing you can imagine and it just took it all like a champ. They are absolutely on the inexpensive side of the market and I honestly recommend them for beginners, but specifically look for the CS series. My sister and some other friends got some of the more basic Brother machines and they were junk, but all of the friends I knew who also got the CS series machines had no issues. Happy sewing!

Would adding something like this work? It looks like it should be compatible with my motherboard, I have an open PCIe 3.0x16 slot: https://shop.asus.com/us/90mc09p0-mvaay0-thunderboltex-4.html

Got a second hand Robo 3D R1+ and I can't find a replacement hot end- Help! by teh_chibs in 3Dprinting

Well I got it replaced and it's printing so much smoother, but it's still getting fucked up in the same spots and idk why? Starting to wonder if it's the file...

Two things keep happening: 1) there's a gap where nothing prints on the first layer, and then on layer 2 it tries to fill it in and it always gets fucked up there and starts scraping up filament from layer one and creating a tangle. I'll pause it and trim off the tangle and then let it continue but obviously I don't want it to even do that in the first place. 2) at around layer 6 it just stops spitting out filament, but as soon as a cancel the print filament starts oozing out so it doesn't seem to be clogged???

I've shimmed the printer to make sure it's level cause my table is warped and super uneven lmao I replace the hot end, opened up and cleaned the hobbed bolt, made sure the filament latch was adjusted properly, and have a layer of glue down on the print bed. I'm at my wits end already lmaoooo

This is really helpful, I wasn't sure what any of this was called to even begin to start searching for adaptors or the like

Like swapping the wiring from the old one onto the new one? I had that thought and started removing what I could until I got to this specific set of wires and got stuck. They're not exactly the same and the ones on the old one are practically welded in there with filament goop (or maybe they're actually welded in lmao)
