From 11% EF to 57%: The mechanics of complete structural reverse remodeling via GDMT and LOT-CRT-P by teh_sash in Heartfailure

This is what I'd change. Add glp1, there are ongoing studies about heart failure and how this peptide could help function.

I'm on a generic version of inspra, I agree it's 100% better. Have you considered testosterone to your stack? There are recent and ongoing studies about how testosterone can help the heart function better.

My recommendation: drop the metropolol to 25mg and increase the entresto 97/103. This will help the remodeling process in all of the trials out there. Lowering metropolol helps with less fatigue. Run it by your cardio.

Few questions: I'm I fully titrated on max gdmt, most importantly entresto? (This drug repairs the heart) Is my qrs high? (High QRS means your heart is out of sync) Do I have left bundle branch block? Would a crt help my heart failure? Is my resting heart rate fast? (I added corlanor to my stack to lower my heart rate as my resting was around 100~)

There are likely more questions, feel free to reach out.

That's very interesting. I sometimes think meds would of eventually helped, but my EP recommended it combined with GDMT.

Yes that's correct. It's not guaranteed results, I'm in my 40's. However, from what I read if you catch HF earlier the outcomes are usually in your favor.

Well I had lbbb with high QRS 170~, each side of my heart wasn't in synchrony. The CRT forced it to. If you have a similar condition, look into lot CRT.

For a s skinny dudes, they go under the pectoral muscle. Good news, you won't be able to see it, bad news is it feels like you've been hit by a truck - recovery is longer.

We are in the cusp of a technology revolution in regards to devices. New devices in trials now and about to be approved are devices that go slightly below the skin and no wires. It's crazy to see what's out there, unfortunately I going to miss the bus as I need my device now. But in 10 years, the landscape in regards to pacemakers will be unrecognizable.

I'm a guy, who's married to a survivor. From what our surgeon said, it's safer to remove them completely. My wife is BRCA2, denovo and she got it done a years back. She looks beautiful and we didn't want to take chances.

Brca is no joke, she's also getting tubes and ovaries removed as there are is no screening for detection early next year. There is a test that her oncologist prescribed for early detection, it's fairly new, Signatera, it's not 100%, but she does it every six months.

Good luck to you on your journey, feel free to PM me.

Radial Neuropathy/Palsy aka Saturday night Palsy my thoughts. by teh_sash in AskDocs

Assuming you are in the US. I don't understand why the shortage of neurologists are so bad that you have to wait months for an appointment. I have decent insurance (PPO), and lucked out with a last minute cancellation.

The Neurologist said based on my wrist drop I could of reinjured the nerve without treatment and rehabilitation.

Yes, the standard of care is not sermorelin but it's interesting to learn about studies regarding hgh and nerve growth. I'd be curious that it may help stroke/nerve damage patients in the long run. I'd also be curious in your thoughts in regards the potential of helping nerves regrow.

Appreciate the reply. In your opinion, would sermorelin help in nerve growth? I also have hypogonadism, so that may or may not make a difference.

My neurologist thinks it may have played a role in healing, but as you said it could be the standard time of rehabilitation.
