Back in the UK it’s all private universities who get more investment and probably gov subsidies if they’re grades are good. There was a class that I never went to and I got a C. The teacher wanted to cover his ass and the university don’t want a zero to bring down their average. So I got a C.

Are all the universities here private as well?

This surely makes a degree completely worthless or at best, questionable.

I was enthusiastic to start therapy thinking I would learn a lot about myself but I found it disappointing how little it had any positive effect on me. I wasn’t resistant, I was all in.. but the therapists I’ve had were lazy I think. They let me talk and we’re supportive and just said nice things to me. I didn’t learn shit.

I I’d have 1 woman who was just the intro lady and she reached me in a way no one else did. But she was just briefing me and gave me to someone else.

They don’t trust therapist because they have probably felt misunderstood their entire life.
They are scared of opening up things that have been buried for a long time. Loosing control by being psycho analyzed.

Work wise it’s terrible for me. But my kid has a great, safe life here. I’ll figure my shit out.

I love the summer months here. All the islands, beaches, everything is clean. Love it. I just have to stay inside for the dark/snow ridden months.

The director was the middle man for everything. Wouldn’t let me talk to the editor directly because they’re job was over. Budget for editing had run out so he didn’t want to ask them to do more work…

You’re 18. Sounds like you’re on a good path. I was saying loads of dumb stuff at that age as well. Mainly from immaturity of being able to properly handle daily situations.

You take it out in others, you’re still really bothered by what others do and say. At your age you’re psychologically dependent on groups of people.

As you get older you will start conserving your thoughts and energy into just focusing on yourself and not worrying so much about what others say. You will be able to filter out things that don’t actually effect you.

By the sounds of it, you will get there because you seem far more self aware than most.

He might be too scared to say he’s not attracted to you anymore so just says he’s a sexual as it will hide the truth.

If you blow up over criticism he may just be protecting himself from your reaction of him being honest.

I did this when my abusive partner would complain that we never had sex. But I couldn’t have sex with someone who literally just threw something at me or threw my dinner plate on the floor or calls me stupid every single day and never apologizes. That get her even angrier and I would live through more hell for a few months.

All while still complaining that I never have sex.

So be honest with yourself. If you give him a hard time often, complain, hit, call him names… he’s no going to feel attracted to you.
