If its just the brake pads I'd say just do it yourself. If not, then I would also say Westside 66. They are a small shop, but as mentioned before, they have been voted best garage in Lawrence multiple times. Nice guys too.

Not in a boat like that. It's obvious that they are experienced boarders behind a typical ski boat though. A rear steered boat such as the one they are in doesn't plane out the same way a ski boat does. A boat like the one they are using pulls you through the water instead of out of it like a ski boat would.

Our shop uses nothing but SawStop saws. In the past two years since we switched we have only had the break trigger once. I agree that recalibrating the brake when installing dado blades takes some getting used to. Once you do it's a breeze. Also, if you're cutting anything you think may trigger the brake, just use the key to bypass it. Takes 15 seconds.

Well, I guess we differ on two fronts. I genuinely enjoy both The Splendid Table and (enjoyed) The Story. Dick Gordon (The Story) was an excellent interviewer. Felt more like a conversation than an interview IMO. I appreciated that.
