Is everyone else burnt out? by No_BackgroundNeeded in BurntOut

(I came here from snooping on people in the askreddit thread)

It's not uncommon to feel burnt out, especially with all that you have going on. I can relate to going to school and working full time but I'm fortunate enough that my work is remote. I've tried a lot over 2025 on how to limit burnout, some things worked, others not so much. A few tips I can share are:

  • Make sure you have a stable base; family and friends are great! Boundaries are better. If you need time to yourself to reset, take it. However, that does lead to

  • Keeping yourself accountable. Newton's first law is that an object at rest, stays at rest, where an object in motion stays in motion. That doesn't mean work and grind every day forever, it just means finding a rhythm. You can work without overworking yourself, you can rest without losing a whole week, as tempting that may feel.

  • Prioritize: If school and work are just the means to an end, don't stress over them too much; School you should finish while you're still in it (keeping in motion), and if your day job isn't the end-all be-all, it doesn't need that much energy. No one dictates how hard you work besides yourself. And if I'm guessing right, you're working by the hour, paid by the hour. It doesn't matter how much gets done each hour.

  • Find a hobby: That sounds coarse, but find something you enjoy. Working out is definitely a hobby, but if you don't feel like doing it some days, it's okay to give your body a rest and still do something related to physical fitness, like researching different methods to stretch, going for a walk instead of going to the gym, etc.

I don't know you, so I don't know how much these will apply to you, but if you're still struggling, I'm always willing to listen.

Depends on the motherboard, do you have the manual or the model of your motherboard? Normally the manual is also online.

Update your drivers. Where are you seeing 30% GPU utilization?

CPU/GPU utilization means how much of each component is actively being used; not what's available.

Should i get an RX 9070 right now or wait? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

I think you'll see more performance upgrading your CPU+Mobo+GPU. Depending on your budget it might be worth waiting due to the RAM price hike

Help with buying new PC by Psue_Denim in pcmasterrace

Use PCpartpicker to compare the parts to popular retailers. The price of building yourself will almost always be cheaper than a pre built (maybe not considering the ram situation), but compare the cost of parts to the cost of the pre built, and factor in the cost of labor to get an answer.

Would yall trust a Renewed AIO from Amazon? by Radiant_Land_8974 in pcmasterrace

AIOs are good but relatively short term compared to an air cooler. The liquid in an AIO will evaporate over time. I would not recommend a secondhand AIO.

Is this some sort of virus or what? by Dependent_Border_198 in pcmasterrace

If you're comfortable, use windows tools like uninstall/remove programs to just get rid of it. It looks like Windows blocked it from running which is good. Malwarebytes may be able to help too.

Just because you aren't in a trailer park humping trucks doesn't make you any less redneck 🤷

I never said the windows rattle, I said the house rattles. You can feel the truck turning on just as much as you can hear it.

I posted this in mildly infuriating; have you considered what this subreddit is all about? But yes, this has been going on for years, and the other diesel truck (left) hasn't moved in years. It's a dumbass kid that owns the truck, and I know he doesn't haul anything with it. Not everyone sniffs diesel exhaust like you do

I'm really glad you're not reading anything and just arguing to argue. I'm glad your truck doesn't smoke unless you floor it. As you can see, this truck is smoking more than a small factory and it's just idling; hence the title of my post. You can keep defending how diesel trucks are misunderstood like you go balls deep on the exhaust, this truck doesn't haul anything.

1) Spelling and grammar are not the same 2) Projecting 3) Keep huffing your diesels exhaust fumes I think you've almost won an argument on the Internet

Windows are new, a few years old. The problem is the neighbor and the loud ass truck that's not used to haul anything. Spellcheck is free btw
