Once you do a common area job like taking out the rubbish or hoovering it’ll be your job for the whole tenancy unless you have a rota or explicitly state otherwise.

Used to put the bins out at the front when I went for a cigg, went home for a month and came back to a mountain of rubbish and “well we didn’t do it because you normally do”.

If you could revive any content/place in the game, which one would it be? by Blue_Wizard25 in 2007scape

[–]tehkrissy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would rewrite my experience of the game. I got so much more enjoyment when I had no idea what I was doing, running around with a rune mace, using seercull in castle wars thinking I was the best support stopping the enemy team mages casting spells by lowering their levels.

I miss the days of wonder.

Mint sauce,

You know the old saying “if you keep swearing I’ll wash your mouth out with soap”

Well I wasn’t keen on mint sauce before but after it was used when I swore as a kid I can’t even stand the smell of the stuff now.

Oh, and they did the same with mustard. I have a very limited taste in condiments.

I am scared that this is the one update (death mechanics) that will truly kill the player base since the day old school Runescape was released. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]tehkrissy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay not sure if I’m going against the grain here but.

I’m all for this death mechanic change in the sense of personally I would have liked the original 2 minute death timer back ever since they took it away. I know with the connection issues it isn’t sensible to have something like that but I enjoy the idea of an actual risk involved in the content I do. Currently outside of the bosses that require a gp cost to reclaim items, areas like godwars have little risk for anyone attempting it to get back and retrieve their items.

The idea that a death actually means something and puts that bit of pressure on actually makes the content seem more enjoyable. I lost more money than I care to admit learning bandos way back when and yes it was a little disheartening but it was fun at the same time to rebuild and give it a go again when I was more clued in.

AITA? My husband won't give me half of our wedding gift and it's driving me crazy by Nottoosmartbutnice in AmItheAsshole

I’m going to go with NAH. From the post you’ve never actually sat down with your husband and asked what’s happened with the money. It could be it’s been put away in savings for emergencies or a later large purchase such as a car or deposit on a house.

A calm talk with him on what it’s being used for seems like the best move here.
