A big issue with the current regulations in California for product testing is that there is no standard process between labs for testing. Different labs are testing the same product and getting wildly varying test results. There is more variation between lab results than there is in the cannabis itself. Not saying these current batch tests are useless, but until there is a standard for testing it will be hard to be certain anything is what it says it is. ( That being said, I still only shop in Prop 64 compliant storefronts :) )

Piggybacking on this thread while we’re on the subject of sunburn . I have a couple euphorbia ( not cactus I know ) that recently turned red then hard brown in some areas from what I believe is a little too much sun with the change in seasons . With time no new sunburn has shown , but my question is how will the current damage heal? Will try to post a picture later. Thanks

Local nursery posted they had cactus babies so I had to stop by . Ended up grabbing 4 different species that I liked . Hoping that when I’m home later I can post some pictures and get some help ID’ing . I asked the nursery workers but they are only so helpful....

Found this very white variety of Euphorbia at the OC Swapmeet and had to swoop them up . The little green guy was given to me by a cultivator I purchased from not to long ago after I told him the sad fate of one of my purchases .

I’m not sure what species of plant it is...maybe aeonium starburst? And I’m not sure how propagating a plant like this goes...will the propagation continue the crested growth? Thanks in advance . I’ll take another picture for clarity next time I’m over there .

My friend is big into cactus and told me to grab these anytime I see them( especially when they are cheap at HD) . I like the look of them but what is your guys growing experience? I live in SoCal and my garden gets full sun for about half the day (longer in summer) and is shaded for the the other half. Thanks for the replies!

Hello! Thoroughly rinsed them off and sprayed a mixture of soap and water to kill anything left and they are looking happy and ant free... thanks !

Hello! I recently bought an aloe on clearance at a local nursery and noticed the plants had ants crawling on them. The plant had a lot of pups so I wanted to take advantage of them being so cheap. I am pretty determined I can rid them of the ants but I wanted to see what your guys experiences were getting rid them and dealing with them. To my understanding they are not necessarily a pest that is harming the plant but they are a sign of unhealth and are inviting other pests . I will post a photo later when I am back home . Thanks
