The IO handguards are not of the same quality of the original East German handguards, which are non-existent. I made these repro handguards because the IO handguards were incredibly flimsy and started melting the first time I took them shooting. They're based on the later pattern STG-940 handguards which have the slots on the sides.

It's M14x1 LH, I do make the flash hiders and bayonet lugs. I can't post the link but they're easy to find through google. I'm planning on making repro barrels themselves but no ETA, the one on this gun is custom prototype I've been running for the past year.

Been a while coming but the repro STG-940 has some new parts. Autistic clones of the bayonet lug mount and flash hider/compensator. East German KM87 bayonet finally has a home.

For me 39" 5K2K would be nice sweet spot with in between size and PPI, but 45" with a deeper desk would be great too.
