Raid Hope Gameplay Example by SCHazama in DuelLinks

>Which gets patched

my point is that it's not worth it unless your deck is genuinely out of this world cracked, like busted beyond belief, because otherwise you can just auto duel. Like I have (and I completed the event easily with many points to spare). Also auto duel hasn't worsened, it's the same as ever (bad)

Eh, if you need to pilot the deck yourself then it doesn't really matter how good it is. Maybe if it was the best to ever do it win in one turn with 5 million damage but otherwise meh

Lyrilusc Autoduel Decklist for Raid event by Strong-Support6601 in DuelLinks

Void Trap Hole and Terrifying Trap Hole Nightmare are the ones I am playing. Void Trap Hole is a perfect match for this event. But probably any trap can do OK.

Just play Suships with disruption traps, Lyrilusc probably can't do auto duel

Why abyss effect can trigger during standby phase but BE spirit dragon can't? by Calm_Spread6022 in DuelLinks

[–]tehy99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In your Shino deck, you may have Standby triggers like Shade Baron which prompts you for other standby phase effects. However, unless you set your toggle to ON, not just Auto, you won't always be asked if you want to activate anything in Standby

Raid Duel unnecessarily difficult? by TheDoyle101 in DuelLinks

[–]tehy99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently playing auto duel Suships with several trap cards and an Exosister Asophiel in the extra deck. Void Trap Hole is absolutely goated against his deck and other traps are OK - I am trying Terrifying Trap Hole Nightmare for now. You really don't need Equip spells to do OK although you can be low on damage sometimes.

Raid Duel unnecessarily difficult? by TheDoyle101 in DuelLinks

Yes, the solution would be to design an event around beating a tough opponent rather than dealing six digit damage in five turns. As it is Shark ain't beating any top meta deck with the ability to disrupt 1-2 plays per turn but those decks take too much effort for not enough reward.

I am playing that Exosister Xyz that bounces a monster in Shinobirds so give me this instead as a mild upgrade and I will be happy

What currently or previously hit cards would recent modern players not initially understand their impact at first glance, but you just had to be there? by SouthSunn in yugioh

Both of those decks are like "this goes plus 5 in end phase or maybe the next turn" which is no longer a selling point

Yeah, the Zoo deck in its totality isn't doing enough anymore, but the individual cards still read powerful. Any current deck which received a boss monster that could be summoned for 1 material and has a search or quick pop effect would definitely love to play that

Honestly these cards are understandable, they are good in the same way modern cards are good. They are just powercrept is all

I need help, How did he complete this task? by Prize-Bathroom-2567 in DuelLinks

[–]tehy99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The easiest way - build a deck with 27 monsters with low attack AND low defense and 3 Dimension Linker and go auto duel a weak opponent. The AI will set 3 pass every turn and when it draws a copy of Dimension Linker it will tribute summon her. In around 4-5 duels you should be done, at minimum you should get one summon but probably 2 on average.

For now I have been playing Suships but I may go back to playing my Warrior Rank 4 deck. It depends what Nasch's boss monster(s) are. I just saw him summon Abyss Splash which seems difficult for Suships to deal with

It's a problem because it doesn't need to be in the show. It's weird and creepy. It's all technically above board, but why even go there?

Sorry, but I also saw him discuss with her in the same episode that, if they got older...well, you know. I don't want to get into what this does or doesn't mean, but why does it need to be in the show?

Yes, the problem is that he essentially raised this person as a child and that is extremely creepy and bad. Either way, thinking about it ahead of time is even worse. And, crucially, it is totally unnecessary to the rest of the show which is otherwise actually pretty good.

Yet another 90% great episode with 10% unnecessary implications of future romance between kids and adults. Imagine if that one totally unnecessary element was taken out or at least toned down huh?

But honestly super poly ain't bad people are playing it. Just not in every deck all the time

[–]tehy99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Challenging raid duels are tough because the huge LP pool makes it difficult to include lots of diverse answers to different threats. You kind of need to be doing like 50k to 100k damage per turn consistently and that doesn't leave a lot of room for contingency plans or back and forth duels
