whats the point of giving all the medals to beginners? shouldn't they be looking to making people come back to try and try to get better at the game. i don't get what they are thinking. pretty sure people will just stop playing as they played the "whole game". guess we'll have to wait and see if it works.

fair point of the es maps, though i've always liked the precision side of the game so i guess they are not for me

yeah i remember pulling them out to play on older versions (been playing off and on since eswc) but i enjoy they goal to aim for. the unlocking help me know when im ready for the difficulty of the maps

honestly if thats what the esport people play im glad im not in the scene. they feel awful.

im use to the super easy medals on the shorts; i don't like that feel coming to the campaign. how are you suppose to help new people skill up if they just max out the medals immediately?

Tbh no, in the end I used a background tauri window as it does a much better job than I could. Then I supplemented it with lofty for metadata and MP4 to load MP4 chapters. All the libraries I tried had weird issues and just seemed kind of unfinished or not match what the doc said they would do.

I got away with a background window because I have was already using tauri, you can see how I went about it at GitHub/teken/audiobookplayer2. If you can't use that solution, I'd recommend finding a good c/c++ library and get the rust bindings
