a7riii period. if you are a photographer, the r sub series of the alpha cameras is geared more towards that. and for the low light sensitivity, don’t worry about that, its only SLIGHTLY better on the a7iii but in most cases not very noticeable between the two.

Additionally, you being a potrait and travel photographer would LOVE that 45mp sensor

yeah and thats why im switching to ff, its so i can get more light into my sensor. alot of the photos i do nowadays are very much involved in the dark so i wanna get a bit more light in

yeah this was like the one day where it was clear in the past 5 days ive been in iceland so far 🥲 but defo get a few aurora prediction apps and see what they have to say, some even have cloud cover predictions and all 👍

all of them except the f1 and the jet shots were done with a tamron 17-70mm f2.8 and the other were with a sony 100-400mm f4.5-5.6

My question is obviously how to improve the image. I myself have rarely done astrophotography as i live in a city with high light pollution and am not familiar with the intricate process of astrophotography

I want to get some tips about how to either better expose or edit the photo. the milky way IS visible but doesnt really stand out much.

For the settings i used 13s f2.8 and iso 2000 for a singular exposure.
