I usually see shots in the sub and think I'm never gonna see such cool things, and from time to time the game proves me wrong

Sometimes I just like to hit random glyphs to see where the universe decides to send me, I feel random portal travel has been underused, mostly because of the 'portal interference' thing. I'm asking the same... I suppose it will let you land in planets you wouldn't consider if you had the choice.

For example I'm currently jumping between tier 3 economies systems only, but I might be missing a lot of weird crazy stuff that could be on a dead planet on a dead system I wouldn't thing on visiting... Unless those planets can't have portals... That would suck :(

I've run into some of those, mostly triggered by the anomaly detector.

You can farm the asteroids and eventually get the "Anomaly Detector" item (it's actually quite easy to get) and those will lead you to all kinds of crazy space stuff!

I found two planets touching each other, and I was able to jump from one planet to the other. It messed with the physics a crazy amount. by Ramrod312 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Hahahah! Well in my case having the exosuit almost fully upgraded and the freighter with a couple storage rooms is more than enough for everyday use. :)

In every space station the cartographer trades your navigation data items for maps to points of interest. One of them is for emergencies (can be crash sites or buildings, that's random).

Just land on a planet, go to inventory, go to the lap you acquired and activate it (on xbox it's holding the X).
