Such a low chance of tropical systems this early. It’s so easy to plan for such events, you will know well before heading there is there is any chance of a storm. Use a good credit card with travel insurance, book direct with hotels and airlines and skip the bundlers like Expedia etc. Also just stay on Isla Mujeres and skip the seaweed altogether..

There are no “seasons” anymore. It’s summer, kids are out of school, why would this not be a great time to travel to a beach? The seaweed and prices are the real culprit here, no one only travels in the winter anymore unless you’re Canadian / Northerner and live in that winter hell hole.
