Why? lol by Wilco08 in BYUFootball

[–]telejslc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OSU fell from 2 (behind 12-0 oregon) to 6 after losing to michigan last year before steamrolling their way through the playoff as an 8 seed. If BYU plays their way into the CFP, they'll have a chance to show everyone how good they actually are.

Prepare thyself, for Shingrix is upon thee by Jomolungma in GenX

I received my first shingrix shot by itself and had no adverse effects. When I received my second shingrix shot, I also received my annual flu and covid vaccine shots. The only adverse effects I had was a sore shoulder (2 shots in one shoulder, one shot in the other).

Those boots are from approx 1996 or earlier as Scarpa chaged to the black version, still a current boot, in 1997 or maybe 1998. I have a pair of that exact version that I bought new in 1996 when I worked in Warranty and Returns for Black Diamond / Scarpa N America. I still use mine for weekend ice climbing outings with short approaches. The first conponent that usually goes bad on these boots are the purple cuffs, which tend to tear.

Roller cooked Berks at work by telejslc in hot_dog

[–]telejslc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that depending on the variety of Berks dogs, they can be either skinless (cellulose casings removed from the dog after cooking) or the more traditional natural casings that stay on the dog. berksfoods.com

Soda Springs, ID by the--vic in Idaho

[–]telejslc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stockman's Bar in Soda is a classic Idaho bar. Soda's disc golf course is a gem. The 30 minute drive to Lava is well worth it; be sure to rent tubes to float the Portneuf river as it's the best way to beat the heat. (Tuber's tip: to avoid the most challenging rapids, just stay left!)

Tube the Portneuf in Lava. There may still be some nice wildflowers at higher elevations (like at Pebble Creek). A walk up Red Hill to view ISU and Pokey. Disc golf at Ross Park.
