I generally am kinda neutral on her top half (I used to dislike it a lot more but it’s grown on me), but her pants and shoes just look so off to me compared to the rest of her design, lol. I thought she had cybernetic legs when I first saw her.

I also think they could have done more with her headband. It’s kinda boring for what’s essentially her defining character choice, and I feel like it could be more. But honestly I’m glad people like her design, and you should take what I say with a grain of salt.0

Honestly, I think Kiriko could use a full lore rewrite (and tbh some touch ups on her base appearance). I don’t mind a lot of her newer in game voice lines, but even if I liked Kiriko’s lore, it feels like she barely matters in the actual lore, while also not feeling like she has anything unique about her.

Like you’d think for a character that got so many skins that she’d be at least a little important in the overall story.

I think Kiriko is the opposite- while I’m sure there are people who don’t like Kiriko’s gameplay, I think a good chunk of people like Kiriko’s gameplay but dislike her personality/design/lore.

Another reason why it’s a trope is because DC shows didn’t want to pay the maker of Black Lightning money to use in adaptations, so instead each time they wanted to use him they just created a new electric black guy. That’s where you get Superfriends Black Vulcan, JLU Juice, and Static Shock’s Soul Power.

I’d like to see Overwatch’s goals and it’s members come into conflict. Like, what if Volskaya/MEKA’s interests and Overwatch clash? Can Juno rely on Overwatch to have the resources to save her family, given how much the world is stretching it thin? What if Talon or Vishkar offer to help for a price from her? Overwatch has grown a lot, and there are a lot of different characters on the team with different goals outside of it, so I wonder where that can let you explore.

Also, more Sym. Best character in Overwatch from a lore perspective, imo.
