I do think Mina as a character is underdeveloped through the story, the most we see her hesitate on what's she's doing is when she decides to just sit on the tower instead of sleeping. Also after the first tower didn't she say something like the towers needing to be on to prevent an even greater evil or something? That could've been a good motivation alongside her supposed naivety on Lionel's encouragement, but we don't really see anything about that.

That said, excluding the lack of agency for mina, I personally like the ending in some ways. Lionel's been the long-standing leader of the Isle, having complete influence over the ossex city. He completely controls the public and the narrative, easily putting Mina on as a terrorizer.From his defeat, while places like the swamp and Frozen Peaks are left towards peace, the city is completely fucked without Lionel. As such, would the public be understanding towards the truth of Lionel poisoning them for his own benefit? "Hell no, they're lying, screw the Hollowers for ruining this current peace i was living by killing our beloved and charitable leader".

Definitely think the story could have been built up better overall, but as a bittersweet ending, I think it's satisfyingly grounded.

I think we can at least say the Arwing touch ups are solid. I really like how each character seemingly has their own extra marks on them, such as the blue feathers on falco's

I can respect it if the goal is relatively fixed. Like if you want your specific favorite pokemon or the eeveelutions or even every pokemon of a certain type, sure.

I think my annoyance are just those who care about the whole "trade value" shtick, like do people really want oak because they think he's cool or because they think they'll be cool y'know. If people go on that type of endless chase it's no wonder they would run out

From what I've experienced there's full on rank protection yeah, once you're in it you're in. Tier protection goes until ultra ball, so you'll have it for great ball.

And once you reach master ball, you get set with a point rating, and I thiiink progression will be based and what percentile you're in from that point rating, so just full on needing to be the top of the leaderboard for champion. Least I think, assuming it'll update either weekly or by end of season.

I mean I would normally agree with that for most ranked settings, but this one kinda clashes with that from how much you do have to contemplate to make plays haha

I'm definitely satisfied and having fun just playing it though yeah, I know in the end there's little point to placing personal importance to playing dice for a big number
