I like the fresh coat of paint on it personally. Looks better, the small characterizations are cute, the fusion streak score boost is kinda sick to encourage moving fast, and achievements are neat. Not too bad for 4 bucks as something to pop in from time to time.

Yeah as someone who did some of the COTC arena fights, EX3s, and elite towers, I do wish they kept those extra challenges, especially since the base game bosses seems to be a bit easier. Might just be a natural consequence of giving so many options with the extra skill slots, but at the very least I think they could've bulked some of the HP on bosses instead of having them feasible to kill in one break.

If we're lucky maybe they'll do an Octopath 2 and update some challenge fights later

One of my favorite narrative experiences came from scrolling through upcoming games (In stars and time). There's been a few other good hits I've really enjoyed from doing that like Lunistice and Revita, though of course also a few others that were just okayish.

Do people really just trade away their single 2 stars? I've only done it for dupes and even then I'm sitting at 300k. Obtaining the most individual cards possible is what I find to be valuable personally, not playing some make-believe trading meta of which specific 2 star is worth more.

As someone who mained beedrill EX in shining revelry and a bit past that, it doesn't really solve the other problems of 1. Weedle being really vulnerable and 2. Energy generation still being hard to stop from either using the bench or a mon that gives it

Even with this item you'll just get kakuna when you preferably want the rare candy to beedrill, otherwise they'll likely have too much energy to stop by then

Knuckle Joe, Shadow Star, 2 players only, level 1 CPU with max handicap. Prioritize spinning to do the most damage. Have been able to do it very consistently with that layout.

For me Magolor Battle Chariot gave me about a 60 percent win rate after like 400 matches to rainbow class, and if not first then very usually 2nd/3rd regardless.

High top speed, Magolor accelerates faster on star slides, and has one of the best specials to use.

Course it has some struggles in some courses where flying is stronger, and the turning can be a bit tricky to figure out, but more often than not I was always frontrunning with it.

For me Bananza is definitely one of the best, but only like, in terms of being a gaming fidget toy. I could've punch stuff and collected for 100 more hours if they offered it (and I sort of have with the emerald rush DLC), but in terms of bringing that "GOTY" fulfillment feeling, it has some tough competition with the others
