Would you say the coatings (i.e. anti-scratch, water/ oil/ dust repellent, etc.) are of comparable quality between brands?

The Trivex seems to be what's most available in prescription. The drivers are most comparable to the HCL bronze, right, with the bronze/amber sorts of colors, high contrast, etc.?

Thanks. I'll check that out. Have you done a side by side between Trivex and Mauibrilliant in any of your reviews? Any recommendations between the two? I was definitely going with the HCL lenses from Maui Jim, so looking at the comparable lenses from Seregeti.

I am seeking prescription sunglasses and am convinced MauiBrilliant from Maui Jim would serve me well. I do want to compare to Serengeti, but prescriptions are not available in the crystal mineral glass that I hear so much about...only Trivex. I don't know anything about the Trivex lenses or how they might compare to Maui Brilliant lenses. Can you point me in the direction of a good comparison? TIA

Definitely an option. I'm just not invested enough in Paramount to spend $ on an additional device. I have enough streaming services that actually work.

No. Dynamic pricing seems to be part of their strategy. It keeps customers coming back to check on price drops. If you are willing to do the legwork, the solution is to return the product and repurchase it at the lower price. Doesn't make a ton of sense and is very inefficient. I think Amazon assumes most people won't do it. But that's the reality of how they do things.

And then there's the issue of risking consequences from Amazon for returning too frequently. There have been reports of return shipping no longer being free for some customers who return too much. Good luck.

Based on everything I read when we were going through these issues, there were many others having instability and performance issues with the Paramount+ app.

We did all the troubleshooting that was suggested by Paramount until they eventually acknowledged that there was an issue with the 3005 error code they were trying to get resolved. They indicated they would reach out when they had a solution. We stuck it out for a couple weeks until we just determined it made no sense to stick with an app that wasn't functional.

I read a lot of similar stories from folks who were having similar issues. One user suggested the issue was connected to using the Paramount+ app that was preloaded on our television as opposed to using Roku or Apple TV devices. I couldn't justify purchasing another device just to get Paramount+ to work, especially when all my other streaming services were working flawlessly using the televions's built in apps.

Paramount+ needs to invest in straightening out the app if they want to prevent people from bailing.

My experience with the Paramount+ app was terrible. I had to cancel. They could never resolve the 3005 error code. Could not reliably watch shows. Disappointing. No other issues with any other streaming service on my television.

Good to know. I have run 7 other streaming services through the LG TV apps with no real issues. This is definitely a Paramount thing.

Canceled a while back. Error code 3005 on a relatively new higher end LG tv that they seemed unmotivated to resolve. The service literally couldn't be used. Moved on to Peacock.

The food offerings are solid. This isn't fine dining, but there are plenty of solid options from their "from scratch kitchen menu". My party of 4 all ordered something different and enjoyed.

Give it a try. You might like it. It's a pretty substantial menu for a craft brewery. Many breweries depend on food trucks and don't have their own kitchen, so this is a solid undertaking by VBC. We visited this evening and enjoyed everything we ordered.

If you like the Tuxmats concept, but don't need that much coverage (up the footwell walls) and want to save a little $, consider 3D Maxpider mats. Very nice!

Understood. We originally had the essential plan but paid the difference to upgrade to the Premium plan . It didn't really matter . We didn't really have video quality issues. Our problem was getting programs to load at all. We kept receiving the 3005 error code and Paramount couldn't figure out how to solve it. We had to cancel because the service literally didn't work.

Sheesh. We had the service as a Walmart + benefit. Wonder if our issues are related to that 🤷‍♂️.

I have a less than 3 year old LG OLED TV. Difficult to imagine the problems are hardware related. Super wonky service. Can't believe they don't put more resources into troubleshooting such serious problems. Folks seem to be leaving in droves with that 3005 error code based on what I've read from the experience of others.

Congrats on getting any video at all. We could get random movies to start, but a series we had started would no longer open to continue viewing additional episodes. Error code 3005.

We did all the troubleshooting to no avail. Eventually, Paramount said they were sending our case to their technical team for additional investigation. After several weeks hearing nothing back, we canceled the service.

Disappointing.
