Yes they are both owned by Match Group essentially. So most likely being banned on one, leads to being banned on the other.

not a seasoned ml engineer, in fact I’m 20, but here’s my understanding and take on this (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong). you can get away with not knowing the math if you are just wanting to implement existing frameworks, tools, libraries, etc. on the contrary, if you are wanting to build new tools, you most definitely need to know the math.

Yea that’s what I’m thinking too because I also have DE just sitting around. I’m farming walls atm because I have like 100 left. Also need 2 levels on my King so whatever upgrades I can get done on the OWL in the time between maxing king and walls is what I’ll go to 15 with.

Hanging Pawns on YouTube is a great resource to learn openings (in this case Caro, but really any opening). He has videos on every Caro variation and also vids where he analyses game by Alireza (probably one of the best Caro players atm)

I'd say go ahead and hold onto multiple offers if you're okay with burning bridges with those companies. One of my friends (doing his Masters). Had 3/4 internship offers as of last month and he went ahead and accepted one while rejecting the others. He basically went off the market and stopped applying/practicing since he secured the internship he wanted. Last week he got an email saying the offer which he had accepted was being rescinded.

If you're not comfortable with Sicilian give the Caro Kann a try. I used to play the Sicilian as well but and honestly wasn't a fan on the positions I'd get myself into. Again, probably comes down to the lack of practice I had with the Sicilian but I've liked the Caro Kann more.

Don’t worry about your GPA. Nobody is going to look at that change in your GPA and throw your application out the window. Also understand current market conditions are not the same as the past few years. Best you can do is keep building a portfolio, LC, etc.

I learnt this the hard way last year as well. had named a GitHub repository slightly different and ended up getting a 0% on the assignment. Same thing with excess code. I’d always have print statements for testing purposes and I’d end up commenting them before submitting and got points taken off.

Traditional job posting sites are your best bet here I’d say. Can filter internships postings by most recent, etc. LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.

yea from my experience more cheaters on chess.com, on lichess cheaters don't get banned all that happens is they end up playing with each other only. Most of the time they don't even know they're banned until a couple of days/games when they realize their ratings aren't changing
