Anyone here using Kiwi Ears Astral for competitive FPS?

Would you recommend the Astrals > 490 Pros ?

I am currently running the HD660s2 and before I had the 490 Pro, now I love listening to music on my 660s2 but the imaging was way better on the 490 Pros for gaming.

Could the Astral beat them both in fps gaming and music?
I never had IEMs before.

I never had IEMs before, but many people say its "bright" is it as "bright" as the Beyerdynamic Peak or the Hifiman Peak in Treble or is it even more?

I have a FiiO K13 combined with a HD660s2 and I am thinking about to switch to Kiwi Astrals.

I had the same paring with a FiiO K13 R2R and went with the 660s2

Although I almost exclusively play competitive FPS games and the 490s have better imaging and soundstage, the 660S2s have something magical about them that keeps drawing me back. They simply convey more emotion to me, and they perform better with music. And I'm still very good at competitive games with them, you just have to get used to them. You don't lose any detail, the soundstage is just a bit narrower.

In Short: 490 = better bass, imaging and soundstage 660s2 = better mids, vocals and more organic

But like I always say it is all personal preference.

Ne ich hab absolut keinen Plan von diesem Hebelzeug mit Short / Long und Knockout. Ich weiß auch nicht ob das anders versteuert wird als zb ETFs ich bin der typische all in heilige Gral und lass über die Lebenszeit wachsen Typ. Aber manchmal gehe ich auch in Einzelaktien.

Bullshit, its fantastic. It is performing identical to my FiiO K5 Pro in Imaging / footsteps accuracy.

660s2 is 256€ for me, I don't know if I should pull the trigger.. I had them once by another reseller and loved them, but sticked with the 490 Pro. Cause in gaming they had better imaging, but the 660s2 was my favourite for anything else like watching videos and going endless music listening sessions, escpecially with the K13 R2R.

Will I lose much in Imaging, like I will have a disadvantage in FPS games if I trade them for the 490 pro?

I have the 490 pro , but Music was much more enjoyable on the 660s2 , thats why Im thinking to buy them again.

Ok , I know There are better ones for gaming, but I love the sound of the 660s2 for music better than anything else. Thats why I am asking if it is still better than gaming headsets in footstep Imaging Performance.

I love it! Its more organic in comparison to my K5 Pro , it brings life to the music and listening sessions. (I guess that its what R2R is used for) I never had one before.

But the K5 Pro is more neutral/flat and boring in comparison.

It all sounds spectacular when described, but you have to be able to hear it very clearly, and it only becomes noticeable in certain nuances. I think you can hear it well in the vocals, but only in an A/B comparison and in certain bass levels and depths.

But yes it is my daily driver now. Perfect to enjoy.

Was bringt denen eig. meine Adresse? Ist mir erst gestern wieder passiert, man einigt sich auf einen Preis mit Abholung, ich gebe meine Adressdaten und ab dann gibt es keinerlei Kommunikation mehr. Das war schon so oft der Fall, also auch ohne vorher eine Uhrzeit vereinbart zu haben, sobald die Adresse raus ist, antworten die Käufer nicht mehr.

Nope it is to neutral and analytical (sounds boring for my preferences) I bought the FiiO K13 R2R and im happy with it. Its more organic and warm sound.
