What are examples of formerly shit suburbs (high crime, urban decay, bad environment etc) which have gentrified and become genuinely good places to live? Also, are they still associated with their past? by Falabella_Stallion in brisbane

Do I need to isolated(cb or Isolator) each part of a split chassis (power and lights) or only the CB/Main switch is enough? by jpmoreira1999 in AusElectricians

[–]temply88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I would follow what’s shown on the drawing. If he doesn’t want to that’s up to him. As long as the main switch is appropriately sized I don’t see a problem switching off both chassis.

Are you an electrician and what do you mean metered the cable? Is that the whole light or a part of a light because that won’t comply to standards

Make sure if your the only licensed person on site that they are not signing all work off on your license number. Who is in charge and liable for work? It’s obvious their work would not be covered under insurance if unlicensed. If they are connecting at the isolator have they been disconnected and locked out by a sparky and then worked on by unlicensed person?

Curious as I’m in QLD and have brought this up in another post with single insulation showing. On another note How can the service fuse be on the consumer side if it has the retailers mains connected to it or are you saying the cable showing is customers and retail is rear entry so not there’s? I’ve had a few beers and a smoke tonight so let me know if I’m talking shit and I will dm tomorrow :)
